13 seems average if you're really going balls to the wall on it and it's mainly city miles. I mainly go highway and get around 16-17 on my V8. Pick related is mine and my brothers. I have n Airaid CAI, BBK headers, Borla X pipe and Atak exhaust, a set of tunes, and a BMR suspension kit.

The corvair, the eclipse has a Plain Jane v6 with a supercharger on it if I want to take it to a track.

17 highway? Seems kind of low, especially with mods that open up all that air flow.

Also heavily contemplating headers just cause of the jump in HP/torque. Don't much care for the rasp and screams of madness when you tap the gas though...
