A full size coupe of the era has air conditioning, a heater, you can do the stereo yourself for cheap and bench seats are supremely comfortable. Also automatic transmissions and supple suspension is nice.

A blown big block is anywhere in the neighborhood of 400+ hp all the way to a 1000+ but at that point it isn't really daily able.
