How much power do you need to get out of an SME before you can call it a decent job? This one peaked out at 2.27e8W, or 0.25GW.

I got the plasma down to 13K, used O2 and multiple shards like people here have mentioned. I played around with the three emitters while the shuttle was coming and the difference between 2 and 3 was only 5%. What else can you do to squeeze more power out? More collectors and closer to the shards? More emitters/prisms?

The wiki says railguns get decent at 25MW but mine at nine times that power didn't penetrate a reinforced window point blank. Either they got nerfed or I did something very wrong (I did have the right size capacitor).

Well just from letting it sit outside it goes down to like 7, which is supposed to be a hard limit. But yes, use low pressure to your advantage. PITA and lots of work, so really only works with a dedicated atmos tech. You want two stages of cooling basically.

If you get everything set up JUST right, that would work. It's just goign to take a long time. Also use an air pump instead of a canister.

How to trick the system and get it below these -267:
1. Build an airtight room inside atmos
2. Add vents/scrubbers and all pipes needed
3. Syphon air from the room
4. Put your cooled Plasma into it
5. Go inside and use a foam extinguisher to get it even lower
6. Fill this back into a canister
When you do that much you can get it so low there is literally no limit on how many moles you can put into a collector
