Doesn't tell Clem, just says "I'M GONNA GO TAKE A NAP" and then Clem finds her as a walker hanging from the ceiling. She also said she was hearing things or something. Maybe she was going insane from being alone or plainly just the apocalypse.

All these fucking timeskips are jarring for characterization.

It seems like they use these timeskips as a crutch to avoid having to make their characters consistent. At least in S2 we got to see why Clem became a little colder (Lee, Omid, Christa).
