You can go up to the signs and check them to see how many times you have defeated them in each room. I think you have to kill them something like 3 times each and the floor in the middle of the map will open.

I ended up defeating them 8 times each before I figured it out so it might be more than 3.

I got Sanakia to join me and tried them in the same mission, but got destroyed. They just keep spamming Fire Blast and Glacial Storm.

Roll the dice and state cancel them with Cessna+Megadeth. If they die, Immobilize with Kanami+Caloria. Rizna takes very little magic damage so I always had her ready to call in replacements. My Rance was at 40, so I did have a little more wiggle room.

That's already the second time in canon. I'm almost expecting him to do it against a Dark Lord in X.

For girls, when they reach cap 49 go with a sex scene instead of star god. That way you get them to cap at 51 instead of 50.
