EE here and also audiophile... you want to keep you're components as close to eachother as possible with a stereo system or it throws off your imaging or "stereo" sound. i have my tweeters and mids on the kick panels right next to the doors woofers. shit sounds like a GAZILLION dorrah sound system. errything sounds up on the dash L&R and even have a center channel feel but there is no center channel.
