Has anyone here completely automated their job?

Has anyone here completely automated their job?

I'm slowly learning how to automate my job using programming and other means. I do not plan on telling my employer so it'll allow for more free time while making me look efficient.

what is your job?

you mean like a real job? or just spamming job? its not that easy to fully automate your real job bro.

i could guide you through a method where money making takes u just 5 minutes a day the rest is fully automated process.

i wont lie (small investment required)

if u got some interest u can add me on skype deniz8841

literally 99% money making forums that are alsocancer are full of this exact shit bro xD

could be, but its no scam so why shouldnt you take a coach like me for this and think about it ;)

one thing is with my business: u cant loose ur money, you just gather it

whatever, i stopped caring after replying to your first post.

It's a real job, business analyst

A lot of my workload is navigating a computer in some way to get the results I need. A lot of daily routines can be automated using programs like Java.

I wasn't able to automate 100% of it, I was only able to do 80%. I ended up starting my own business and now I provide services to my prior employer and a few other firms. Make about 6 times as much as I did before, I highly recommend it. I only have to work about 3 hours a week now, but I like to improve my software and whatnot, so I work more around 20 hours a work. I'm very cozy. Law firm industry.

It would be cool. But I don't want my autonomous loader to flip over a truck or kill anyone.

Plus if my boss shows up and I'm taking good a nap while my loader is running around my job just got 100 times harder running an automation group while simultaneously getting a bounty on my head for putting 60 people out of a job.

They do have automated haul trucks already though. So that would be nice.

Just don't end up like this guy

Fucker should have routed his LoL traffic through a VPN so the IT guys wouldn't catch his ass.

that... that wouldn't work though.

How so? They would only see an encrypted connection to a few IPs.

MOOOOODZ!!!! bun this fuck already, for the love of pepe. I am not going to lie to you, small investment required.

Bump

>programs like Java
Kek'd and discarded.

It's hard to take you seriously when you write like a 14 year old.

Recommended programs then you NEET smartass?

i think what he meant was that java is not a program and no one would ever say it was unless they were completely tech illiterate

>loose
must be some business you got there

I wouldn't use Java for automation. Probably some kind of scripting language. Bash or Python probably.

I work at a small community bank as the IT and operations guy, I have almost completely automated my job to the point where I show up to work and do whatever I want to all day, usually this means posting on Veeky Forums, watching netflix and doing some light trading or playing a strategy game like Stellaris, I even installed a low profile graphics card into my workstation. The only time I have to do anything now is when people forget their passwords or lock themselves out of the domain which takes like 2 minutes to fix.

Sounds pretty comfy. What education do you have?

Computer science degree, but I didn't even need it, the guy I replaced didn't even have a degree, just had a lot of IT experience in the finance world and he went on to a much nicer job.

Interestingly enough, scammers write like that intentionally because only idiots would reply to them, so they only have to focus on idiots when they get their skype messages.

Which is why the Nigerian Prince is still used, because only an idiot would fall for the age-old Nigerian Prince scam and email them back.

Just curious, what's your income?

If you can automate everything in that job, then it's not a REAL job.

I have a shitty dead end job in a medium sized company which I hate. I either do nothing in front of my PC all day or hide in the toilet cabins.

It's similiar I guess.

>boss finds out
>fires you, uses program from now on.
Thanks user

>boss finds program
>sell it to him

I'm a project manager so I'm basically already replacable with Microsoft Project and a blind monkey. But my employer prefers to ignore a human being than a monkey/PC.

>anything produced during working hours is the sole property of the Company

This always makes me smile when I go poop

What if I lock it up?

>programs like Java

intellectual property ftw

So what if user just writes his code at home and tests it at the job to see if it works?

Debatable. But guess who's going to have the money to swamp you in court costs until you give up while they continue to use your program? Ayyy justice.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong here but if the boss found out about these automations, can't you just delete the source code as if it never existed?

Exactly, our IT is a joke. I could be wrong but I'm sure there is a way protect it from tampering. My whole job won't be automated but I'd say 50% of it and I work from home when I want. Then when I get bored I'll move on to a higher paying job with my new skillset.

Would be real nice to even begin to have time to automate stuff in my job.

>be accountant
>automate job with vba and autohotkey
>collect paychecks for a year
>company eventually finds out
>makes me "automation specialist"
>$5k raise

OP is learning to be a programmer kek

island like java?

>start working at new project
>find out im automatic my own job
>get fired after another year.

before I became a programmer I did this at a shitty library I worked at and automated a 45+ hour cloning process (because they were doing everything wrong) down to a 2 hour one but it caused the entire "IT" department to get butt jello and start to sabotage and fight me on everything so I had to quit. Anyone want me to type the whole story out?

Please, so I can apply to my local library and do the same.

Plz, plz, plz.

That's pretty funny. How did they find out? Were you surprised they weren't pissed off at you?
