came back from a two month break, is that new quest hard? i've got a hcim almost maxed
Nolan Murphy
nah dude I did it with my eyes closed.
Anthony Perry
the maze is a ballache the combat is easy if you've got experience with bosses
Noah Powell
read the wikia you're going to fight 3 literal bosses jagex is too lazy to design new bosses so they just import an existing boss so yeah, this quest is more like a quest to boss you'll die
Benjamin Myers
>jagex is too lazy to design new bosses Sliske.
Jason Hughes
Windahmeo
Owen James
>try to insult jas on my hardcore ironman >get three warnings, even one mentioning I will lose my ironman account
I wonder what it would write in the chat..
William Foster
Player: Shut it squidface, don't you tell me what to do.
Voice of Jas: Self destructive Voice of Jas: Needlessly defiant Voice of Jas: Mortal life is an aberration Voice of Jas: It shall end
Player: Err...I guess an apology won't help?
then you get hit for 20k and insta dies
Cooper Phillips
thats not what they mean, they mean the death message
Jeremiah Taylor
no, I mean the death message. surely if they went through the trouble of making a custom dialogue box for hcim they also made a custom death broadcast. has anyone actually suicided their account on her yet?
Landon King
ohhhh, I get it now
Hunter Parker
stop making new threads
Isaiah Taylor
what bosses are generally done with range? which need supreme sharpshooter?
Gabriel Wood
sp00der
Caleb Cooper
I haven't played in ten years or so. I know there's now two versions, is it worth getting into as F2P or is membership mandatory? And which version is most played/most content?
William Stewart
>is it worth getting into as F2P or is membership mandatory pretty much 30% of the game can be played as f2p >And which version is most played probably old school >most content rs3
Jordan Clark
(me)
Brody Foster
something more beginner?
Sebastian Morris
Kree'arra or QBD
Levi Nguyen
...
Cameron Morgan
why seriously, why
Colton Gonzalez
thats quite the stockpile you have there huds gross tho move your clock/slayer-o-meter
Henry Foster
Are they two separate gameplay systems? Like what makes one more popular if the new has more content
Anthony Stewart
tell me what's wrong with this, senpai?
Owen Barnes
why do you have that icon on display you can hide it
Xavier Jackson
does it look like I care when i'm doing div
Cooper Lopez
>Are they two separate gameplay systems old school is a literal backup from 2007, so the game is simpler rs3 is more advanced in terms of mechanics, gameplay and graphics. >what makes one more popular if the new has more content simpler mechanics and nostalgia
Benjamin Morris
I feel like none of the jmods actually play runescape. I feel like the only ones that play runescape as the ones working on osrs. Does anyone else share my concerns?
Brody Fisher
old one has the old combat which is click n forget. it's popular because a lot of streamers advertise it and it has a third party client that's very good
new one has a different combat system. you queue up basic abilities that generate adrenaline and you use stronger abilities that need adrenaline
desu, there is no real reason to play oldschool runescape unless you REALLY hate the new combat system. RS3 has a lot more content including for early/mid game players
Robert Turner
its proven that a few of the rs3 jmods actually do play runescape on non jmod accounts, (I think shauny being the most obvious) but Im not sure if every rs3 jmod does
Blake Campbell
Yeah shauny does play, even before working at jagex
Bentley Davis
desu
Ayden Nguyen
Is it possible to obtain multiple Royal Crossbows??
Jaxson Brown
>pretty much 30% of the game maybe in 2005, now it's like 10%, that includes p2p content that happens in f2p areas like quests.
If I worked with a game I wouldn't be the most excited person to play it. He being maxed is already better than I expected.
Connor Sullivan
But compare it to the osrs team which is only like 6 or 8 people. They only put out updates that people want, they don't put out super high tier end game quests that are 90% running around a maze. It actually feels like they play the game on their own and balance the game around that. Nothing in RS3 feels like that anymore.
Dylan James
They only put updated that the people want because 100% of them are polled and will not pass if people don't want them.
Jose Ortiz
shauny isnt even a dev, he's basically community relations, its decent that he plays the game himself so he can atleast get his opinion out in jagex hq
Gabriel Barnes
>trade your divination buddy a muspah like a friendly fc member >he pockets it instead of summoning
-_-
Kayden Johnson
desu i'm out of summ energy
Wyatt Campbell
>Iron Memer5 has just died by yelling at an Elder God and dooming Gelinor forever.
Jack Parker
and rs3 has a Legacy option to make your combat like the old game, though it's ineffective compared to EoC and some newer bosses are straight up impossible in that system.
then again people got drygores in Darkscape somehow so I guess it's not as impossible as I thought.
Leo Barnes
>They only put out updates that people want, except both cases it's just player polls. > It actually feels like they play the game on their own and balance the game around that. Nothing in RS3 feels like that anymore. hence all the bootleg versions of RS3 content that gets put into osrs like Nightmare Zone being a copy of Dom Tower and the planned Fight Caves 2 that just so happens to give 3 capes as a reward?
Elijah Kelly
the only worthwhile osrs updates does qol updates like instant fairy rings that don't make you go to Zanaris first, their new content are abominations like Monkey Madness 2 and Zeah, even the boss monsters like Zulrah feel like copies of RS3's combat-wise.
Andrew Stewart
>every single fucking thread
Connor Young
come rum with me come rum lets rum ber-ayy(8)
Jaxon Kelly

Tyler Carter
thanks, wouldn't have remembered that
also some coal/addy ore, but I forgot how much since I have huge stockpiles of it in my bank for artisan's
Tyler Moore
isn't The Arc kind of empty and shitty?
Henry Green
It's actually good for xp
Joseph Gray
duh, but that's not the point here, it feels rushed and unfinished, kind of like Zeah.
Isaiah Moore
Why are you playing on very low
Nathan Cook
no, it has some flaws, but the details and the quests are good
Nolan Long
>sap spirit >leech adrenaline do these drain at the same rate? just wondering for arc slayer guys
Matthew Peterson
I guess I'm just spoiled by Prif but the arc is just so tiny and unmemorable, that closed off city of corpses tells me they have more shit planned in the future.
Benjamin Foster
yeah, that is one of the flaws to be honest they made it too big, that's why it feels empty but the content it has is fine
Samuel Ortiz
>Leech Adrenaline, one of the Ancient Curses, boosts adrenaline while draining enemy adrenaline by up to 10%; it does not work on monsters (even ones that can use abilities, such as Cadarn rangers). > it does not work on monsters (even ones that can use abilities, such as Cadarn rangers). guess not
Isaac Nguyen
what a load of butts! curses really dont feel like the massive upgrade from regular prayers that everyone told me they wereonly 85 prayer mind you ):
Charles Bell
leeches are way better than the normal boost ones, specially when using zealots
Luke Robinson
>been to 250 isles and still can't get that last seed
Andrew Sanchez
>tfw that stoneberry seed is the last thing I need for the salty title I'm salty as fuck indeed
Parker Rivera
automatons or aviansies task?
Connor Anderson
aviansies automatons are not good anymore, their drops fell in price a lot
Isaiah Cooper
but dem gloves.
Elijah Scott
1/256 chance of getting a 1m drop while getting all kinds of crap isn't worth it
Evan Taylor
man i remember afking nmz back in 2007 all day after school, i really wanted to get my combat stats up to fight zulrah. man those were the good old days haha
Caleb Gutierrez
3 million actually.
and they're for me
Ryan Jones
you don't use tank armor never gwd1 gloves are better
Matthew Robinson
considering I can't even beat Sliske's Endgame's trio boss battle, yes I do need them, among other things.
Wyatt Davis
damage boost > armour
Adam Collins
Armor does not reduce damage taken. That is what your Defense level does. Armour reduces the rate in which you get hit. It is way more favorable to have a better damage output than to diminish enemy accuracy.
