How do i order my troops to pike-brace on 1257? Also the tactics menu is the boring native one without proper formations, is this normal?

they fixed long time ago with the "reforged edition" it doesn't have game braking bugs (or any) like it used to.

Nope. There's a reason to play Warband native, but there won't be for Bannerlord. The best thing about Bannerlord is that the depth of modding will be improved, and I assume you won't need script extenders for complex features.

I did. Most mods for Warband are just native but with new items, possibly a new map, maybe some features from a better mod, and one or two unique features that serve mostly as a gimmick added on top. Very few are distinct and unique in their implementation of things, and very few set themselves apart from the rest, even graphically. Compare some generic low-fantasy mod with another generic low-fantasy mod and you'll see they're roughly the same. With Bannerlord, I expect the Native will be like a regular mod for Warband, save for a few new features to show off something they've added to the engine.

i'm getting burned out on warband, what do i do?

i've played a fucking shit ton of various mods and all of them get boring for various reasons, such as gekokujo not having diverse amounts of troops and it ends up being pike and bow spam, PooP taking fucking forever to get to the point where you are building up the kingdom of pendor and the game is actually fun, finding out Nova Aetas has a serious bug and i can't produce calradic empire troops in cities, which makes me quit the game immediately, etc.

i just want warband to be fun again and i don't know what to do

i have absolutely no interest in native mp, so the only mp i've been playing is napoleonic wars and Full Invasion 2

i've already put probably 200 some hours into NW multiplayer and i am not as good at bayonets as a lot of those other people, and FI2 is full of people who exploit and constantly vote for the same small handful of factions when the game has like fucking 40 to choose from.

I'm also 32 years old so gittin' gud just gets harder for me, i don't have the reflexes i used to, and i can't block those people who rapidly feint and then slip an attack in

Will I need the Napoleon dlc? A lit of the active servers are just for that module.

trainer works, and companion trainers stack.
fastest way to level them up is combat, having them kill stuff.

How do I prevent my companions getting their shit pushed in with every battle?

I currently have them all assigned to a Bodyguard group that always follows me, but I keep them on foot because otherwise they charge with my cavalry. Should I give them horses anyway?

Give them 30 STR and max power draw. Then just plant them somewhere and let them do their thing.
