Where's the front lip or whatever that is?

Lots of 350 owners are asking the dealers not to put the lip on, because there have been loads of mis- installation issues that cause it to rip off at high speeds and on top of that mine had a little imperfection on it which looked like someone had scratched on it with a very rough type sandpaper. The dealer told he'll give me a replacement one as soon as it arrives.
