Dunno about that guy but where im from insurance companies really hate young people with old cars. Most insurances wont take a car thats 10+ years old if youre under 30.

What sort of shithole is that

Austria, most old cars get shipped out to slav countries and if you want to insure anything above 100 bhp its expensive as fuck. No wonder everyone drives either a golf or some disgusting koreamobil.

Just as an example, im 21, if i were to insure a 160bhp Audi it would cost me 2k a year, and thats without tax and with the shittiest insurance possible.

UK is the only good place in Europe for owning/driving cars

UK is one of the worst.
Northern/Eastern europe is the best

Weird, I'm the from Germany. Huge difference there

Confirmed for having absolutely no clue.
UK is easily the best.

>cheap insurance provided you're not under 20
>easy and cheap access to RWD BMWs, MX5s, MR2s other jap stuff and hot hatches
>no retarded taxes out the ass, all you have is an annual road tax that isn't even based on emissions if your car was registered before 2003
>no retarded taxes on new cars

I have a clue because I've lived in the UK for 3 years and owned 2 cars there.
Northern europe is waaay cheaper - i am a 20yo male and I used to pay 440 euros insurance for THREE big luxury cars together.
Meanwhile I had to pay 16.000 gbp per year to insure a 600£ BMW.
Annual road tax is 163 euros per year for each car above 2.5 liters here.

nice fj
any violations?

Not that guy, but isn't it insanely expensive to actually learn to drive in scandinavian countries?

Its expensive everywhere in europe. I paid 3k for motorcycle and car together.

Lol, I paid €800 for my car too and €95 insurance. Though I'm 18. This ridiculous insurance cost will last until I'm 24. Fuck.

You can't be paying 700 a month for anything. Kill yourself while you still can.

Can't be $33 whatsoever. Where the fuck do you live, outer space?
