depends, crafting can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but so can fusing. buying a 6 link is probably a little safer since you're probably able to get away with like a 650-700 chest until you feel like crafting some more

I know one thing you can do is if you get the flask nodes with pathfinder dying sun gives you an extra projectile and dying sun is pretty amazing for molten strikers, but you're not even close to that area so yeah
i think the build will work but its not gonna be fast clear speed obviously, the single target should be pretty decent compared to your clear tho
if you use whirling blades and have ok attack speed you can live with no movespeed, but thats up to you. having no movespeed mostly sucks for things like hydra

I'd still have 5% on my belt, but yeah none on boots. It's just getting dire when lately I see no good int/es boots with movespeed and it's holding me back from using my new gloves/belt due to resists.
I use leap slam, just quicksilver pots for movement though ;-;. I need the leapslam with fortify as well. I guess I could switch faster attacks with it, but it seems pretty meh

I really wanted to make a Nuro's raider build based around those frenzy rings and a quiver. Seems like it has a lot of synergy with Raider, too.
Unfortunately, Essence of Horror is 20c each and you'd have to go through dozens before you got a set of rings which would be acceptable (IE, have flat cold damage and life as well).
Maybe I'll try it in standard when the league ends.

I'd do this. Played my fair share of Molten Strike back in the day.
Berserking is shit damage. A Jewel socket beats it easily. You needed your mana issue fixed, so mana leech was grabbed. Don't waste gear affixes with that shit. Evasion is a shit dice roll defense, Life Leech is consistent and strong. Especially with access to the Duelist's Leech Ring.
Get a Vinktar to boost your Boss dps. Vaal Lightning Trap will do until you get one. If you aren't comfortable with Vaal Pact you'll hate running lab. If you want stronger flasks grab a Bloodgrip. I highly recommend it for any Life build.
Pathfinder with Dying Sun would be best, but most expensive.
I would do this and use ngamahu (i'm not sure how much it costs now) and i dunno if deadeye is the best choice, raider is probably stronger since you're near a bunch of frenzy nodes

I was considering Ngamahu's as well but it's a bit pricey for me at the moment in BHC, abut I'm willing to farm 20 more chaos to get it if this build works out for me
most of what said is fairly accurate, though idk if i agree with taking the single mana leech with extra leech rate instead of just getting the life + mana leech in duelist area, nor am i totally sure about acro and shit though it does add an extra layer of defense and will give you more mitigation than your block for the most part
i also don't really agree with evasion being totally shit with Perfect Form being in the game now but thats a different topic

The tree has 210% life with like 250 Strength. It should reach 5.5k to 6.5k, which is good, but not great for T13+ as a true melee build. It's 1h+Shield so Kaom's is out. Next best option I could think of was the combined mitigation of Insta-Leech, Fortify, Block, Dodge, Spell Dodge to make getting one-shot or getting unlucky as fuck the build's only fear.
