The radial hypnosis is decent but I've found for something like farming Infested, it actually slows them down from running toward you.

So it slows down max killing speed, and I guess in some situations the mesmerize is a boon. I'll actually try this out in sorties to see if it's better CC than other options.

yeah well the game doesn't ever really explain shit, though the wiki does - the health type is always still underlying the armor, but the more armor something has the less the health type matters at all (say over 100 or so armor, but even with 1 armor something will be more vulnerable to the armor type's vulnerabilities than the health type's vulnerabilities)

Try defense mission in derelic with nekros. Realistically, you could do 20 waves and get nothing. Shit fucking never drops for me, at least I dont need it anymore.
