Some quicc notes on bringing the old skins
Season 1 - Alpha might be a bit too bright making cars too shiny, Window graphics might not work as they do in BES. (Ferrari and Gallardo in the pic)
Season 2 - They fit right in but Genstrings are completely different and the .gen files you need to use are completely different as well, just copy from the test car. Alpha might be a bit too dark/matte. (GTR and Camaro)
Season 3 - Setting up the window is completely different. Alpha does a completely different job so you might need to take a look at it. (Huracan)

Actually there are no plans for a race this weekend so it wouldn't conflict. I suppose not even SJ is stupid enough to try and run his series knowing at least half its field will be in /ovgt3/.

VTCC physics make these GT3s look good
there is a 55 second gap between first and last place on the liveracers so real good bop you got there. for comparison everyone in vtcc was within .750 seconds on a longer track

either make the whole thing slightly less glossy or make the car matte and the sponsors/stickers glossy
VTCC has a bunch of crappy car models and the physics are completely trash (see RWD cars).
probably just make everything slightly less glossy desu, too lazy to do it for each sticker
It's a combination of who is running it, the field, and that we've already raced VTCC to its logical conclusion over a period of two years.

guys I need help
I blue screened while playing rfactor, and now it wont start up anymore. It launches into a black screen, loads for a while and then I get "rfactor.exe has stopped working". I installed a different install on another drive and it still fucks up. I tried different resolutions, windowed mode and all that shit and nothing fixes it.
I had a similar problem after it crashed when I was alt tabbed
I reinstalled it multiple times, restarted my PC multiple times, tried opening it multiple times but it didn't work. But then, I tried launching it again, doing nothing different compared to all the times before, and then it just randomly worked again. So I guess you just gotta be patient

Porsches are going to be in a Porsche expansion.
For the others it's a bit more random, especially the ones without in game models and/or thumbnails. Nothing proves these cars aren't just dummies or testing entries. Most GT games are littered with dummy and unfinished contents you can only infer what they could have been.
