you get 60 damage per second from radiance in an aoe, and you get 1 second per 5 targets, while maelstrom gets 150 damage per 4 targets on average

the ember that casually strolls in when its not a sure kill is a dead ember, radiance won't change that math, if you could kill them in melee range with radiance while they're permachained, you could kill them without it

shivas and maelstrom are both more aoe magic damage output than radiance during SoF. Maelstrom/mjollnir is a better farming item and better buildup too, and it only costs half as much to get the full damage on the sof

like whats the point. If you were going in rambo style in melee range, mjollnir would be 5x better than radiance anyway, static charge and 80% attack speed makes it more damage output

and if the enemy team manages to defend against a push (which is pretty likely thanks to base shrines) they then push, and it goes back and forth like tennis for another 30 mins until one team fucks up.
