Mercy is shit. Slow single target healing that can be dps'd through. She's only worth the rez, and even then it has to be just right. I'd rather have a Lucio healing everyone and using his ult on cooldown.

She's hard to use and she IS underpowered at the moment, but she can be pretty good on Defense.
Controlling health packs and denying ults during a team fight can make a big difference.

Healthpack control is minor and ult blocking is waiting for the stars to line up. In the time she's been standing around hoping for a "perfect" time to use her ult she could have an ana who is actually healing and killing and can still ult deny, or any other offensive hero who can do real damage.
