California is overrated. In my opinion any flag with text is an automatic shit tier. The point of a flag is to symbolize something, not outright tell you what it is. I'll make an exception for Arab flags though since at least they have calligraphy rather than just standard print. Also things like the C in Colorado's flag since they are incorporated into the flag's design in a nice and flowing way are acceptable.
