It's the peak of the german BB line.

Yamato T9, it's the peak of the IJN BB line which has a pretty high skill ceiling. Having the alpha to one shot literally anything non-T10 and being tanky enough to survive two times what would kill other BBs is pretty fucking based.

My favorite is probably the T5 Königsberg that thing is just to much fun.

What can I do to win matches as a DD?

Stack with competent damage dealers.
Though even pubs learn to leftclick in T6/7. At that point your winrate should skyrocket if you're competent and can consistently remove enemy vision.
