This weekend will be fun

Should go a little further south to hit up Guerneville

Don't be surprised if you run into a washed out part of Scaggs Springs Road. This weekend is going to pour out there.

Goddamit, I wanna drive with yall but don't wanna ruin my brand new car.

Let's go slow (snek) and make it a scenic cruise.

what kinda car?
also nobody is forcing you to drive fast

Seekrit.

We might turn around where Skaggs gets narrow and rough, then just drive the 128 to the coast instead.

Should I bring my funs?

Not going to a range anywhere.

Drive with the chill group. I don't think anyone will be going faster anyways.

Isn't it more likely someone is just forwarding these threads to them?

Gosh, it sure would be a shame if someone was doing that.

Forgive me for this only tangentially Veeky Forums-related question, but I have a question.

Where in norcal would be the best place to live? I ask here because Veeky Forums holds my interests significantly, with /g/ coming next. But fuck living in Silicon Valley.

If you don't want to spend a ton of money don't live in the Bay. You can live in places like Redding or Sac if you want to hang out with us. Outside of the metropolitan areas you won't find many places with hobbyists that like /g/ related stuff. Except for maybe HAM radio operators.

Those two look good, especially Redding. Reading up I guess I should have said upstate. And I prefer small towns. Easier to get to know the locals, make acquaintances with local law enforcement, stuff like that. Don't much care about /g/ stuff, that's what the Internet's for, after all.

Good luck man. What do you drive?

1979 Trans Am, well, I will. Having issues, currently collecting rust in my parent's barn because I've been too busy with other stuff to work on it. Love it, though, with it being gaudy gold it's like the last gasps of disco desperately attempting to drag itself into the 80s. In MI at the moment, and would be a long while before moving, but I saw the thread and figured I'd ask. Always wanted to try Cali. Parents lived there, visited Fresno once, and Bakersfield. Air Force brat and all. Seemed nice, but being blue collar from blue collars I've never seen much of the world or even this country. Always wanted to see the redwood forest. Saw the black hills in South Dakota when we lived there, that was nice. Sorry, I ramble too much.

Will Yeen Peen be there?

nah its cool. go ahead and come over. Usually transplants make me booty blasted but only if they're yuppie casey mods. I dunno man life is different here. its a state where worlds collide in terms of people and places. I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world.

Well, locked out of the cabin

Where's that rx-7 fag? I bet hes overheated somewhere on the side of the road so he can't post here.

Shame. I wanted to remind him his car is shit.

Ghost Camry is that you?

>not being an thief and picking lock
break the door down

>be motral enemy of the redding
>but then i learn
>their crime rate and vehicle accident rate is half of my local areas
>yet they have twice the population
still a shit town filled with hicks
>their costco doesn't even have a gas station

>fresno
I am so sorry
>redwoods
do it

It wasn't so bad, kind of comfy. Most of the places I've lived have been snowy or icy places though, so perpetual temperate weather is something of a legend to me. Plus I got to see this neat gas station thing while I was there. Was a kid though, so I don't remember much.

>fresno
>comfy
>temperate weather year-round
pick one
t. tower district is okay if ur gay

I guess comfy levels are relative, for a guy like me that's lived most of his life in shitholes next to military bases in the north and rustbelt, it was pretty darn comfy. What would you say is the comfiest city or town in upstate cali?

>comfiest
is such a subjective term
all i know is that I lived in Fresno
and it was a bad time
>GO BULLDOGS!!
anyway here's a map of good places to not go

> lived most of his life in shitholes next to military bases
have you considered Marysville?

>that map

Aw man, I was considering Weed, the view of Mt. Shasta looked nice.

Haven't heard of Marysville, looks like it sits next to another military base. Parents lived in Bakersfield near Edwards AFB before they had me, and they said it was shit, which is believable after living near them throughout my childhood. Fuck Barkatraz and Shreveport/Bossier City specifically, and fuck Louisiana in general.

I slept in a Fresno Wal-Mart on New years eve.
Shit sucked, thought niggers were going to get me

this is a valid fear in Fresno
>should have slept in Clovis
only if white tho

Weed is nice, don't let my shitposting ruin NorCal for you

No one in the central valley
maybe one day

No worries man, it's good to hear real opinions from locals. I'll probably find some podunk town or village that looks nice, anyhow. Never been a fan of proper cities. Too much noise and light.

Hey, this place looks really nice. Thanks for the recommendation.

So wait, is Fresno n/o/rocal approved? I've heard good things about the school's guitar program

Based quints of 5

Fresno is really good for touge within an hours drive. 49, 168, Tollhouse among dozens of others.

Not too sure if the smell of cowshit is so strong some days like in other towns in the valley. Some places it's pretty unbearable.
