Nethergod is generally too slow in this meta, and phantom howl chews up your shadows like mad when you often need them for boardclear or protection.

Gourmet emperor is great in control, but spartoi often protects you for a bit longer and pushes you into 6 shadows for tempest or death's breath. Also dark conj over widow is kinda preference, I feel like I brick on draws less with a cantrip like widow.

Ambush Sword does well against Daria rune since it has no AoE, they can only try to finish the game fast enough. Terrible against most other things though. Also low playrate.

Yeah. It's fun against Daria but I've pretty much stopped playing it since when I'm not playing against Rune I'm either playing against ramp dragon (insta lose when they drop bahamut, you can try to stall with ambush followers but it's pretty hopeless), shadow players that consistently draw lurching corpses and necroassassins, and aggro blood decks that just run you down before you can do anything.

I think I've figured out why Aggro/Tempo Forest had such a ridiculous win rate despite little play. It's partially because they counter the hell out of Aggro Bat which is getting spammed. But because the players couldn't handle the feel of being out-tempo'd by Daria they're too scared to play it

I use nethergod because it can remove significant targets like Yurius without needing Shadow unlike Undying Resentment. Howl is there for usual puppet+howl finisher.

I started few days ago and besides all free Darkness or Bahamut packs I have only bought Standard. Prolly well above hundred pack pulls and still going, I need many standard legendaries so rolling for them and getting liquid to create some is my top priority. I recommend you do the same.
