I like them because I like trying to interpret the how, why and what of who they were and what/why they did what they did. I like that it's not set, and coming up with possible scenarios and theories; whether it leaves them misunderstood or a complete psychopath, I love it. I understand therefore that nearly all fanwork on them is headcanon, and have grown to really fucking despise dinduchara and narrachara on a lesser scale.
