It's a Formula SAE car, back then the max engine capacity was 610cc, but I think they bumped it up to 710 now

Im due for emissions and if I pass I wont need to do them ever again so I will be most likely cutting the 2 catalytic converters out

Its been about what I thought, Lots of small things,I fix everything myself so nothing has really been that expensive. The forums are amazing, the best car forum I have seen in my opinion. they have really made working on this car incredibly easy. They have a guide to replace almost every single part with diagrams / pictures from real life.I spent probably around $300 by now. There is a bunch more things that I need to do, but I have been driving it everyday The engine is very happy and runs super smooth besides running slightly cold (think it has a 80C thermostat ???). I just do one thing at a time. I am really enjoying it though, I would say its my favorite car I have owned yet even with its current flaws (pretty much every rubber mount/bushing needs to be replaced at 24 years old).

The engine is the best part, its truly amazing, no weird clicks or ticks or anything. Doesn't burn any oil at 166k+. turbo seals are still good not a puff of smoke on start ups. I have read of many examples of the original turbos going over 300k miles without being rebuilt. The all mechanical AWD is pretty amazing too. We have a snow storm right now and I just spent close to 3 hours out doing shenanigans today. The car has hancook evo v12s (summer tires) and ive gone up very steep un plowed hills without a problem.
