The one problem with a Benz at that mileage: it was designed to begin breaking down at around 100k miles. You would be inheriting a nightmare of expensive maintenence costs. I dealt with the 80k-120k maintenance costs for an 02 C32 AMG. Dropped about $8k for all of that maintenance (while in college). Unless you want to deal with those headaches or know a quality mechanic that can do it on the cheap (instead of dealership), I would suggest staying away...

There are a lot of cars like that where you would be better off buying them at 120k miles with all that stuff replaced instead of 80k miles and still on factory parts and accessories.

It's true for any car, but Benz, Beemer & Audi, you are paying a significantly larger cost in maintenance than an Asian or American car.
