3.5k hours in dota 2 and getting sick and tired of the 40-60 minute games that are lost because a teammate gets caught out like a retard or forgets to BKB or something. 40 to 60 minute games are kinda boring in general and now that I graduated college and work I don't want to spend my free time playing 3-4 games over 3-4 hours just to lose a game that was basically decided from the start.

I had only 1k hours before i made the switch. I switched after the release of 7.00 for probably the same reasons as you. Losses doesnt make you feel like a lifeless piece of shit, and the players are less toxic.The game is more casual and there are LOTS of 12 year olds, but i think it's worth switching.

In Overwatch you'll get comparable idiocy, but the games are significantly faster so you can lose more games in the same amount of time.

Don't worry, user. It's not so bad if you have a nice roommate, and some people are quite good at giving others their space. Are you going to school close to home? If it's really that bad during the weekdays, you might be able to visit on weekends depending on your dorm's rules. I had to live in a dorm for a little while when I started college and I couldn't stand it, so I kind of get where you're coming from. Just remember that it's not forever, and it'll be okay!

I really enjoy playing Junkrat but don't play him as much as I'd like. I play him if I can get away with it but usually have to go Hog or 76 to play seriously if he's not doing work.

I have like 20 hours played on this game now and went into ranked and I got plat but I'm mostly solo queueing. I have two questions:

1) When it's apparent that my team does not care about playing a team composition with which we have a decent chance of winning, what could I pick to raise my probability of winning?

2) Where do I find people to play with? I would like to find other people to play with to avoid the situation in the previous question.

It'll be about 2-3 hours away. People tell me I'm being a bitch and that I should just forget about my anxieties and socialize. I have no issue forcing myself to socialize with people but home is the only place where I get a chance to cool off because I tend to find social settings draining. Now I'm coming back home just to be surrounded by more people I may or may not even care for.

One of the things I about like the game and its diverse cast of characters is the variety in hero designs and how Rein's POV, for example, and Torb's POV are very different. With that in mind I'd like to see a hero with a very low POV, maybe an omnic attack dog (a backline harasser classs)

Dunno about #2. #1, if the game is a death match use something like Soldier or Roadhog who are versatile and self-sustaining. If the team is mostly cohesive but lacking a vital pick, fill the gap.

The only thing I haven't gotten right now is Fareeza, Zarya, and Mei's skin. I just got Lucio's a while ago, too. Good enough for me.
