I had a stillen modified z32 in the late 90s. It is a nice car, and if its what floats your boat then go for it, but mechanically it is not very friendly, well once you pull the engine it is.

There is also the issue of it quite literally being a pornographer's car

I think it is actually the worst of its class. Certainly more so than the supra, the c4/c5. The rx-7, the 911.
Certainly not saying it can't be done, but I think you would really have to love the car to like it.

This right now, the prices on the Challenge Straddle are climbing I wish I had the price.

I hope so then maybe I could suck enough cock for the down payment for a Challenge Straddle. As for the 575 I like the coupe and the Superamerica. But the California Turbo sort of makes it pointless. Is rather just have the regular 575 Maranello with the GTC handling package.

California T is nothing like the 575SA. The Ts aren't as bad as people make them out to be but they feel nothing like the V12 cars. The GTC package is nice to have, the cars without it really lift the nose when you are on the gas like you're in an old drag car. I could go either way though, the ride is nice on the standard package. I swapped the springs on a stock one to the GTCs but kept the stock sway bar and it seemed to be a good combo, didn't get a chance to hammer on it though.

You probably have driven both so my speculation is automatically second to your experience. But the California Turbo has the Superamerica beat in horsepower and torque.And knowing the improvement in gearbox technology it probably feels far quicker and is easier to drive.

I'm a sort of a eccentric when it comes to liking Ferraris. I pick cars that are undesirable to a lot of hardcore Ferrarists.

The T is way faster than a 575, but 550/575 is a true GT car, it's not about speed. That's why I don't like the 599 or F12 either, they gave up too much comfort for the sake of speed numbers. For undesirable cars there's the 400i, Mondial, 456, 348, 612, all of which are undesirable for good reason. A Mondial T isn't bad for the price, and the 456 manual is a good cruiser but they are both a handful for maintenance. There really aren't any forgotten/under the radar Ferraris like there used to be, the market has squeezed every dime out of the nicer cars and first time buyers moved down into buying 308s, 355s, and 550s which made the price skyrocket on those too.

He doesn't get to drive them, he's just a greasemonkey. They have one guy who actually gets to drive them, and he's 50.
