Why are they only sold only in 5 countries?

Why are they only sold only in 5 countries?

because it is just a fucking badge.

they're hondas.

because of brand recognition
that why opel is vauxhall in th uK

Because only five countries are dumb enough to fall for rebadged "premium" Hondas. Or rather they're obsessed enough with brand hierarchy to care for it.

>oh no, I can't possibly drive an upper middle class car with a Toyota or Honda badge, they're for poor people

>Lexus is literally a rebadged "premium" Toyota

>Audi is literally a rebadged "premium" Volkwagen

>Alfa Romeo is literally a rebadged "premium" Fiat

>Porsche is literally a rebadged "premium" Volkwagen

Ok too far :'(

No chassis are different

Oi, stop it ya cunt.

My father owns a CR-V and is quite happy with it (senior citizen, don't blame him)

He wants to buy his last car in life and is between a Merc GLC and a Lexus.

Another CR-V or a Mazda CX-5 aren't considered as they lack a premium badge.

Maybe he could get an Acura if they sold here...

Lexus is Lexus in Japan.

Has anyone made like an infographic about who owns what brands? Like Toyota and GM.

Lexus makes vehicle unique to their badge, Acura is literally Honda rebadges, even when they limit cars like the Integra or NSX to themselves.

Not that hard really, I only struggle with the Europe only marques.
VAG= Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Bugatti, Lamborghini
BMW is BMW
Mercedes owns Maybach and Smart
Ford is Ford, Lincoln and Mercury
Toyota owns Lexus and formerly made Scions
Honda is Acura
FCA= Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Alfa
GM= Chevy, Cadillac, GMC, Buick, Saturn, Pontiac, Hummer, Saab, Opel

BMW is Mini, I meant to say

Also Rolls Royce

Thanks user!

VAG also has Bentley, Ducati, Skoda, Seat

BMW has Rolls Royce if im not wrong

The premium badge thing doesnt work in most countries

Seat in VAG too

And skoda

to add:
Nissan owns Infiniti
Hyundai owns Genesis (this is relatively new)

they sell acuras here in MX nothing spectacular desu and overpriced

vag also owns scania and man trucks. FCA owns ferrari and abarth

acura makes dog shit, thats why

Ferrari is technically not owned by FCA anymore.

>tfw Saturn, Pontiac, and Hummer all got the axe and Buick didn't
>tfw Mercury couldn't get the Cougar to take off and died miserably rebadging Fords

>Saturn and Mercury are dead

>Bentley is literally a rebadged "premium" VW
>Rolls Royces is literally a rebadged "premium" BMW

>Mercury
>Defunct in 2011

Why didn't I know this until now?

Renault owns Dacia

>Bugatti is literally a rebadged "premium" VW

Nobody cares about those brands, left then off for a purpose

>only
>only

Nissan is together with Renault.

Only Buick managed decent sales in China

since 05 after it became an international company rather than re badge

>Rolls Royces is literally a rebadged "premium" BMW
BMW IS premium though...

Because you thought they made anything that sold other than the Grand Marque.

It was the only thing with a Mercury bade that sold and when the panther platform was removed, it killed Mercury off for good.

Really wish they would have just retooled the panther platform and kept the main parts. Body on frame, comfy air springs, etc, but apparently Ford bitched it was just too old and would require a major overhaul to get it up to the government standards that would be in place for the 2030 deadline to have all sedans get a minimum of 55mpg highway because the HNIC is a pinko fuck.

not in first world countries like germany

Star trek symbol car?

What faggotry is this

No, it was that the factory was 100% clapped out. The tooling was all so old and worn as to be useless. They would have needed an entire new plant.
