built by british and indians

The new ones bought from new aren't really any more unreliable than other european lux cars tbqh. The older ones weren't that great though. "Because they're British built" is top memery.

Bear in mind that the target market for these automobiles would buy a new one every 2 years. Reliability 5/10/15 years down the line from sale is not a priority for that company

too complicated

Built by Indians

Why don't you ask Dinesh why he built it that way?

You guys are just racist. The Tata is just giving the financial aid JLR needs.

>Aluminum block
>High temp thermostat

Recipe for disaster

their workers are probably worse than gm fremont

>Want Range Rover because image
>Buy the diesel V6/V8
>Take it for groceries and taking children to school
>What is DPF

The diesel is the best to buy. It's almost silent and has tons of torque.

Torque for days mate. 700Nm from the 3.0 V6. 40 more with the V8.

That's plenty for me.

no one has told europe that cars are supposed to be reliable

>Not realising that the Yank tanks aren't any better
Yes, keep burying your head in the sands. Not thinking is what made America great

Because just like humans, fatties tend to die younger

Their unreliability and terrible depreciation makes buying a Range Rover just an all around hilariously awful financial decision.

American cars use to be reliable
European cars were never reliable

Did you guys hear David Spade got in an accident with his Range Rover this week?

British engineering feat. Pajeets.

>American cars use to be
>use to be
American education.

is that mb covered in shit?

They are actually pretty good now.

We can also get that in the US and I'd love to get it just for the diesel but it's way above 100k. Fuck no.

Indian here. It's more likely a repo'd car that's been in a lot for months. It's kind of painful to see Rolls Royces, Aston Martins and a few other exotic collecting dust at these lots and police impounds.

"British Engineering"

Looks more like flood damage.

>Why are Range Rovers so fucking unreliable?

Because they are British. Who cares? Don't by one and that problem will never be yours!

It so easy to avoid shit vehicles. Do not buy.

The Aussies have a saying: If you want to go into the Outback, take a Land Rover. if you want to come back, take a Land Cruiser.

...

Range Rover was bought out by BMW in the late 90s and it forever fucked the name range rover, that's why. New ones are made by Tata, theyre not even british.
You can have one run reasonably well, the air ride suspension is usually a major fault with them though.

The name Range Rover was fucked well before BMW, Ford, or Tata. If anything ownership by those companies forced them to somewhat address their reliability issues.

I blame Lucas the Prince of Darkness and British Leyland
