Did you see the pictures of the Midlands Tick meet last year? There's a big panorama of everyone that went, I was 4th or 5th out of 10 ranked by power and I was on a motorcycle. We had a shitbox cup at the last drag meet at Shakespeare County Raceway too, which was won by a qt in a naturally aspirated 1.3 Starlet.

I was planning to go to the tick too but work got in the way

Well unfortunately every meet so far has taken a lot of work. Tickmeet took a lot of work, Dragmeet substantially more so, even mini meet and shootmeet took work. If you want one local, do the work and take advantage of the fact that you have people who are willing to travel.
