Problem with Goblin Mage is that she cannot contest the board since a 2-drop will kill her, while a GM out of Feena will ensure no tempo loss while putting two bodies on the board (And fetches a Roach).

I have fought Forests that are too busy putting out GMs that I just overwhelm them with better followers.

Rhinoceroach created a strategy that revolved around trying to defeat your opponent in one turn without requiring any cards on the board. Fighting for board control and battles between followers make an overall game of Shadowverse more fun and compelling, but taking 20+ damage in one turn is not particularly fun or interactive.
