Web consolidation was the greatest thing to happen to the internet because the "admin" model created in the 80s and 90s, including IRC, running your own server, etc is so viciously weak because at some point the admin realizes it is just that easy to click the ban/mute button. Or they leave it to someone else to manage who appears to be in the know because they're on all the time and then they do the exact same thing. These things go from 0 to circlejerk at near light speed once they realize, yes, there really is nothing preventing them from banning whoever they want for what ever pointless reason they want.
Xavier Ortiz
But it means that banes are more effective and you can stop shitposting pretty effectively. These threads die because there's no control.
Jose Davis
I hate falcunt
Mason Foster
You're absolutely fucking delusional lexcen. Nobody made falcunt a mod, the other mods just ban shit posting in the discord. Maybe stop shitposting and you might not get banned.
Eli Flores
Lexcen is just as bad as falcunt, no wonder lexcen wants him to drive down to SA.
Carter Mitchell
Can confirm here is an insider admin promising to veto any bans against the shitposting duo. You can't make this shit up
Luis Myers
So what're the recommended cars to get if you're looking for something that's fun, not a sack of shit and you live in Sydney? Most of the roads around where I live are complete ass. As much as I'd love a larger car having something small-ish would make daily life 100x better
Got about 20k to spend, lots of friends/family telling me to get a Golf but 2/3 cars I see are either a mazda 3 or golf
Jeremiah Fisher
what are peoples thoughts on XR6 Turbos? ive been told they use a lot of fuel thats about all i know really. my dad has a 5.7 statesman which isnt as bad as people make out v8 fuel economy to be.
idk forester XT if you want something big and relitivey quick?
Evan Walker
Are you saying you want a large car or small? Your post is confusing. Are you ok with a coupe / not much space?
It depends, a fully stock xr6 turbo driven quietly and economically won't use an incredible amount of fuel but when people start upping the boost and changing their tunes, exhaust etc and drive it full throttle at every set of lights then yeah of course it's going to use fuel, the hard part is keeping a check on your right foot!
Tyler Cox
Sorry, I'm looking for something small. Wouldn't feel comfortable with a larger car.
Cameron Miller
Wrx. Next question
Hunter Wright
yeah well its only stock ones im looking at 180kw or whatever they make is enough for me at this stage. a zorst would be the biggest mod
didnt read that right you wanted a small car newer model GTI? the turbo mazda 3?
Michael Ramirez
under 25, don't really feel like paying $3k a year in insurance
Jacob Garcia
theyre slow af unless you put work into them plus theyre true boats. srsly theyre p/w ratio is similar to any 2.0L NA hatchback made after 2000 t. user with the xt with worked motor, wrx swapped shit
Levi Hernandez
their* im a few drinks deep my friends
Jordan Long
you think 3k a year is bad
for an 18 year old zero claims no loss of license
fucking value the car at 6.5k insurance is 4.5k for a bone stock xr6 turbo ute
anyone know any good insurers for young drivers or will i have to go with third party to aviod being porked?
Juan Richardson
I always got 3rd party ith fire and theft cover until i turned 25. Never bothered with expensive cars either because of high risk and low insurance. Shame Just Car are finishing up
Ethan Morgan
they quoted me 1400 for the same car, still expensive but no where near in comparison
would shannons adopt some of just cars younger cusotmers since theyre under the same bigger company?
Josiah Kelly
When i read the email it said something along the lines of 'one of our other companies will pick it up' so wither Shannons or AAMI i guess.
Tried the whole 'dad as driver, you listed as alternative driver' thing?
What shithole do you live in?
Joshua Reyes
i live in somehwhat rural Tasmania,
no whats that? does that lower the price? my mum said she would insure it in her name but that would fuck her if i ever crashed,
Isaiah Thompson
It makes it cheaper. Just do what i have done since i turned 18 - dont crash.
If you do crash it only means the excess that gets paid will be higher, it wont have a big impact on her premiums or rating as she isnt the one making the claim, you would be.
Carter Myers
really? i didnt know that
so if your exess was $1500 as standard, it would go up to $2000 as standard for example?
i dont drive like a dickhead i just like putting my foot down a bit when i get the oppurtunity so hopefully i dont haha
Carter Wood
Yeah. Usually excess is 500 1000 for under 25 and 1500 for under 21
Daniel Ward
>press brake >one of the back red lights doesnt become brighter I am a total retard in cars. What might be the problem?
