Fuck this game, fuck the people who play it, and fuck the devs who create "content" for it.

This casual shit doesn't work for an MMO. 99% of all the players are pure shit, and the incompetent devs support it. They barely issue out content, and the content they shit out is horribly simple and uninspired. They rely on the vast majority of players being utter shit, assuming they even make it to the endgame.

No built in teamspeak.
No add on support.
Everything is zoned.
Selecting players based on performance/skill is considered bullying/harassment.

The whole game could have been good, but instead it's a fucking joke.

So I just started playing this game, level 12, and all I really do is fetch quest here and there. I feel really lost in what I should be doing and hardly ever see anyone. I started off as a cat/thaumage so i can't remember the name of what city that puts me in (if there's multiple start points) but is there a guide that says what I should be focusing on? Like should I be crafting on the side or is that more end game? Also what even is going on with the story?

Other then that I like the game, haven't done really too much in it tho.

I am good. I didn't do any server firsts, but I have my a12s clear. I have my alexandria gear farmed out. I have nothing left to do, and even daily/weekly shit to keep up with the material grind/gear up alts is riddled with shitters who are still wiping on normal a12. It's a fucking joke. This many players at endgame, this late in the patch, all overgeared for the content, and yet they still don't know how to play the game.

This game has a massive community problem, and it's because the devs are colossal faggots who think a parse will hurt peoples' feelings.

The game decided to be a trainwreck instead of something decent. What other fucking game goes out of its way to withhold information that would improve the way someone plays it? It's absurd. Everyone just uses this "game" like a fucking elaborate chat room.

Follow the main story, it's the quest with the spikes on the top. You need to do that to unlock almost everything.
Just follow the story and do quests in that area that is suited for your level. Do FATES when they are closeby.

You're starting area should be in Thanalan.

You get your chocobo mount at level 20, but you need to have unlocked it in the main story. You can get it once you are 20 and have progressed far enough in the story too.
