Sweden had invaded Poland dozens of times so why not try again. The saxon army had retreated back into Poland, who's to say they won't try again if the swedes just lut them go?

No. Sweden was not a like that at all. Sweden was a state that created an efficient system of conscription, drafting and drilling, as well as revolutionary use of artillery and having tactically superior generals.

They also had much effective system of battle properly utilising the technologies of the day, especially during their military advance, they fired several volleys at enemy as they advanced from different distances and then charged in to melee, as they were better drilled they also won in melee but often times enemy army just routed and got slaughtered by the cavalry.

They also fought with their infamy as well, because of how ruthless and seemingly invincible their armies were.
