I wish the games this month would come out earlier instead of being squished into the last 2 weeks. I have nothing to play for the first half of january but in the second half like 10 games come out.

A boring empty world with even less to do than Mad Max tied together with forgettable characters, a lackluster Saturday morning cartoon plot, a facebook tier mini-game and glitches. It's just altogether bad and what makes it worse is that you can see the parts that weren't tied to the failed MMO are actually pretty fun. Thus making the game all the more frustrating when you're thrust out into a wide open world with MMO fetch quests.

DLC and game region must match, this is less of a "lock" and more of a compatibility issue (ie Japanese DLC probably won't include an english translation and would fuck up if played with an english version of the game etc.).

Japan already has DLC for future tone. It's a pit overpriced on the JP version if you ask me. There's basically 3 song packs with 4 songs each and the season pass was like 4000 yen or something. Generally they add the newest arcade releases. Here was the first pack.

Alright. ffxv has some really good monster designs, pic related especially & Griffon, it's a real shame they didn't put it in the main game & placed them in a optional dungeon.

They must've put in a lot of effort in them only to be told to cut them so they placed them in the optional dungeons? The 100th floor boss on Steyliff dungeon looks fucking rad too. I'd say in all ff, xv has the best monster designs, really like that they went the minimalistic route unlike traditional ff's.

It's really very good, particularly if you're a fan of the series.
