What melee weapon should I make? I've pretty much neglected them all this time and only still use the broken war because it has a pre-installed tater on it.

fist weapons: the new ones, hirudo i think, sound interesting. built in life strike on crits.

others: at the moment i am a sucker for whips, but that is one of the weapon types that is made good by maiming strike.

Ack n brunt has final harb, best stance in the game.
Atterax has the highest crit chance/dmg/reach ratio with a pretty good stance.
Hirudo is probably the "Best" fist weapon, but that's not saying a whole lot.
