I wasn't even using the right preset. I had my raid loadout on. I shot a dragon flash bullet thinking it would be a sudden storm. Luckily one pellet manged to snipe him.

I do my best to avoid doing it. I have no shame doing against Absolute Zero+GoDA users. I will go out of my way to make their time fighting me as miserable as possible.

I prefer step dashing backwards actually, but for whatever reason the game won't let me do the input unless i input a step vanish first

Do what everyone else does and try and dodge without doing something that's quite possibly exploiting a bug. I'm not convinced you're even supposed to be able to step vanish like that when you're stamina broken, and even if you are it's undeniably cheesy as fuck considering how near invincible you are while step vanishing.

plus it doesn't matter if it's a fembuu or not regarding that, any race can step vanish spam until their stam break is over. fembuus just don't die in one combo if they fuck up and get caught
I mean it's one thing to complain about cheesy insta kill combos, but simply not using game mechanics to not die is kinda ass if it's designed to be the only defense of the situation.

Untrue, you can still use counter moves and if they try to ult you, you can use one handed kamehameha and use the flips to take you out of the path and even take a chunk of their HP out. And like I said, the jury is still out on whether or not it's even an intended feature. We'll probably never know with how much shit goes unfixed in xenoverse games throughout their lifespan, but I still consider it cheesy as fuck and don't do it just because it's a tryhard thing to do.
