That looks like the front of some dodge car that i tried to google but could not for the life of me remember the name of attached to a 4th gen F-Body.

This look right?

Try stuffing a 570hp V12 in Dodge Stealth

>dat power curve

Kys

>all that front overhang
confirmed for shit handling.

I managed to get a fucking V12 barge under $20K

Eat a dick,

After looking up all Chrysler FWD platforms and looking at the car again it looks like the Dodge Intrepid front grill mixed with the headlights from a first gen Eagle Talon on an F-body platform.

Would buy/10.

I still fucks with it

Where can I download the community modpack?

Did you really use an INDICATOR as a headlamp fixture?

Forum community can be pretty cancerous, and the devs are kinda slow.

Unreal update was promised around the end of 2016 / start of January 2017.
I doubt that and suspect it will be out in like March - May.

When did they add pop up headlights?

What file am I supposed to find to make the track editor work? I've searched damn near all the folders in it

They didn't, it's a mod

Dicking around in sandbox, r8 my first turbo shitbox

1/2

...

Too expensive desu

So what if I did?

Looks good.

I have a challenge for you automat/o/rs
Make a Pontiac Fiero.
Engines you much replicate include:
W41, a 2.3L DOHC 16 valve Quad 4 engine making 190 HP with a 7k redline
LQ1: a 3.4L DOHC 24 valve V6 making anywhere from 200 HP (IRL production numbers) to 280 HP (preproduction numbers prior to second gen Fiero prototypes killing Corvettes.

Anyone plays Campaign?

I got a couple hours to burn so Im going to try this

havent tried since they 1st introduced it and I had problems

just been playing other games to get my tycoon fix but maybe Ill give it another go

>I had problems
Can assure you there are no big problems now.
I tell you this because it was unplayable at one time. Now it's actually playable.

nice

I always got errors before

Links?

I like designing cars on paper but there's a GAME

automationgame.com/

automationgame.com/

Not really important, but do you get to drive the car?

>3800
>looks more like an AW11

No, sadly. They said if they were to ever implement it, they'd want to do it right so it'd take a very very long time.

>Safety: 49.5

The Fiero was the second safest car of the 1980s user. Do better.

3800 because it has a 3.8 engine

3800 a shit.

>3.8K DOHC V8
wtf. This isn't Ferrari. this is Fiero.

well reinstalling this shit took way too long

AW11 body is the closest to a Fiero

Going to trow in something else

That's much better.

...

I miss ManOnTheMountain's LFS VPN...

That feel when I've been browsing Veeky Forums for 7.5 years...

W41 150hp

280HP LQ1

W41 190hp

>tfw made dozens of cars in Automation
>slightly burnt out, waiting for UE4 swap

LQ1

You know what it helps if I attach the images.

I'll use the excuse it's late.

UE4 engine swap? About tree fiddy and a weekend's work.

thats pagani zonda numbers

MINUS THE TWIN TURBOS

>making a car in 1965
>turbos arent available
What the fuck? Turbos were available just a few years earlier

Basically, the game's meant to be a production car tycoon and ingame if you put a lot of tech into forced induction you'll be able to get turbos at the bleeding edge. Think of what tech is available when as what the truly average car company would consider as an option for their car.

turbos werent more common until the mid 70s

which is why 1974 is the default year

turbos are available by default at 74 But if you are playing campaign and research turbo tech up to 10 points you get them 10 years earlier. so 64. In the game you can have thing up to 15 points, so 15 years before.

I actually think this game is more suited to a tech tree kind of research but the devs don't think so...

yeah Id personally prefer a Civ style tech tree

fuck you if I do well enough to get EFI and turbos in 1950 I deserve it

just like how I have planes in the 1700s (but no electricity because the fuck)

It's even worse cause you have awful starting tires and brakes for the amount of power you easily get early game with no tech.

You pretty much have to put extra quality into tires and brakes early game to get lower profile tires.

>Basically, the game's meant to be a production car tycoon and ingame if you put a lot of tech into forced induction you'll be able to get turbos at the bleeding edge. Think of what tech is available when as what the truly average car company would consider as an option for their car.
The Chevrolet Corvair had a turbo option from 1961-1969 user.

>automation.gamepedia.com/Game_FAQ

>11. When will you raise the 12krpm Rev limit, Give access to 130 octane Avgas etc.

As Automation is a game focused on running a car company that builds road cars, and maybe a few touring car style race cars, those kind of technologies don't make sense to include.
We chose the 12krpm rev limit as it covers any production car ever made and then some, and because the way we get engine sounds produced starts to run into a lot of issues above 12,000rpm.

>those kind of technologies don't make sense to include.
Just fucking wow, what a bunch of lazy cunts. And they ask almost 30€ / 30$

That one I actually agree with them. It's a production car car.
How many engines in production cars that rev above 12k?

My biggest subject with them is the Diesel engines. You can tell that the game is made by NZ retards when they tell you Diesel is not worth it.

>EFI
>1950
So you want an ecu that runs on fucking vacuum tubes?

They're actually German, they moved to New Zealand for... some reason.

>implying that option to have a group B or C car with a NA engine revving to 20,000 rpm, made solely for advertising, wouldn't be fun

the other gripe i have, is inability to manually adjust gear ratios

Nice foxbody

>17L/100

>$32CAD on steam

yikes

get it on a sale

bump

wrong engine tbqh

>AWD

1/2

It looks like a Nissan R390

2/2

>494 cubic inch V6
>8.09L V6
wut.

3/2

8.1L pushrod twin turbo V6

this must be what a GT-R and Corvette spawn would be powered by

can you drive them about ?
I would want to see how bad the handling and power delivery is

no

No, but it can drive around a track for you, albeit in a top-down bare-bones way.

Have they finished the tycoon part or is still in progress for the last 5 years?

There's a lite tycoon, but it plays like you'd expect

modpack when

my cracked version's getting boring

Well that was easy.

...

New challenge: Make the best goddamn kei car you possibly can.

Requirements:
- Wheelbase smaller than 100"/~2.5 m.
- 660 cc engine max
- Reliability higher than 35
- Premium unleaded fuel only
- Year set to 2010

Fuck, almost forgot:
- Manufacture cost must be less than $10k

Other than that go crazy

Engine so far...

>the other gripe i have, is inability to manually adjust gear ratios
This. All that detail but this is left out

Aaand done

63hp as per kei car regulations. It's not fast but it is practical and cheep.

Didn't have to be 63 hp, it can be kei in spirit. Tune that bitch up.

Since you didn't mention a horsepower limit...

> Front overhang
> Handling

Lol what?

Suspending some sheet metal and a plastic grill wont do shit.

The Dev's are Aussies M8...

Nice cars, 10/10 would drive in dense cities

One more. Over 200hp/liter with this one

They can be available that early in the lite campaign.

...

Does it have a proper career mode yet or is is till sandbox?

and the beast mode

169hp vs 62
7.1 vs 13.3
15.42 vs 19.38
140 mph vs 106 mph

sure it only gets 25 mpg but that wing hoodscoop and AWD make up for it
