You can run Bone Chimera as well, but I prefer the early-game Ward Soldier brings to the party. He also eats bats and fairies alive and has a pretty nasty stat spread if evolved. That said, his base attack is dogshit and lets non blood/elf enemies get away with ez trades. He's also a solid Urd target if you didn't draw any of your Lurching/Attendants before turn 4.

Because it's kind of inconsistent and actually kind of easy to run down. I find myself preferring Pure Seraph and honestly can't believe I haven't attempted it sooner. That said the new RoB cards probably make it better than it was in DE.

If you're using a deck with a proper win condition Elena shouldn't be a huge problem unless you're aggro and even then you can overwhelm Elena before they get started.

As blood you should be saving all your direct burn for turn 6+ because that's when you lose the ability to have any board control anyways.

Shadow isn't really a hard matchup for aggro blood, especially with all these shitty Nep-decks and their terrible early game. Shadowlog showing shadow being blood's most favorable matchup in both Master and AA right now.

Wards on turn 1-5 are what fuck aggro blood up. Finally getting a ward out by turn 6 is too slow.

Gameplay wise elana can take the win faster than seraph (non-mirror) and it's actually threatening to opponent before t8.

really the only significant matchup aggro shadow is worse in than aggro bats is... the aggro bats matchup. Which is a pretty major one to lose margin in. But that aside, their winrates seem similar.

Control Sword is a contender for the best anti-aggro deck, up there with Elana. It's shit against Daria while Elana has lolThemis though.

Control Sword has a better matchup against durdly combo decks like DShift, though, since you can still flood the board with dumb followers and play almost like midsword.

Why are people complaining about Daria Rune? It is almost auto-lose against any actual board clears. You vomit your hand on the board once or twice, it gets Themised and you lose. How is a deck that gets hard countered by one of the most popular decks in the meta (Elana) get so much infamy?
