She just got her EnLightning SSB with the new event along with her OSB so she's good for Thunderspam now, it looks like.
I don't even play BE anymore but I can tell that's a bad roll. Refia and Luka are supposed to be good healers but you don't have any base 5*s much less an Exdeath or Cecil. May as well reroll while you're just starting out.

Luka is an okay healer, but nothing special.
Go for a 5* unit like Luneth, Gilgamesh, Lightning or Noctis. If you don't get one, reroll. They're gonna carry your ass and you will need it if you don't want to be miserable.
Refia and Luka are both decent healers, but you don't need more than one. Garland becomes okay once he gets his 6*, but isn't that good in GL.
Definitely reroll until you hit one of the units mentioned above.

Which game's final boss did you hate the most, on a personal level? Mine was Ardyn. He taunted Noct with hallucinations, killed the girl he waited 12 years to see(all Noct wanted to do was to save her...) , blinded his friend, kidnapped and tortured his other friend, responsible for the death of his dad and Ravus, destroyed his home and plunged the world into 10 years of darkness, effectively (probably) turning Dave, Sonia, Dino, Coctura, Wiz all into demons... makes me mad just looking at that smug fake smile on his face. He put our poor band of brothers through so much shit :(

The normal rare summon is probably the best bet to grab a decent 5* if you don't want to be randomly cucked by a Dark Fina, yeah. It'll probably make for more annoying work than if an actually good 5* had a drop rate boost but it's your best option at the moment.

RK Question: What abilities should I be creating/honing? I'm not fully sure what I should be creating and honing and what I should be prioritizing over other things. For noteworthy abilities I have currently I have Curaja rank 1, Curaja rank 3, armor breakdown rank 1, mind breakdown rank 1, protectga rank 1, shellga rank 1, lifesiphon rank 1 x2. I'm pretty sure I should get my other Curaja, armor breakdown, and mind breakdown, and two lifesiphons to rank 3. I also plan on making full break as soon as possible.

Restart and reroll if you intend to play long term. Starting off with a base 5* unit like Lightning/Luneth/Gilgamesh/Noctis will let you start off strong especially if paired with a unit like Refia/Cecil/Exdeath.
For your current rolls I would restart and reroll though. No base 5* unit and none of the good units like Refia or Cecil or Exdeath.

Any banner that has a 5* you MUST have, based on character you like or skillset. Tilith is a must. Rikku is a must. WoL is very good if he shows up on another banner for his 6* Amelia is pretty great

when I started this game on the noctis banner, it took like 15 rerolls to get my first rainbow crystal and mind you, in thise time we had 12 tickets each reroll.
and it was a fucking sazh. the reroll with noctis who is a base 5* was after around 25 rerolls, which equals 300 pulls.

In RK, what healer BSBs are coming up that are worth chasing? I did 5 pulls on FFIV 1 and missed Yshtola BSB. I don't know I can justify drawing any more on that banner when everything except two BSBs are dupes. The current 13 banner does have Vanille, but the rest of it is unexciting to me. So what's the next chase healer BSB? I feel like you need to have a good one to clear these torment dungeons.

Its fine with what you have. You could consider Medius since he does have a 6* while Hayate and Miyuki do not.
Luneth once maxed should be able to carry you through at least the Pro levels of King Mog events (when we get the next one) to grind for currency, as you continue to fix up your party for Elite level content.

This is a good idea actually, Rain will cover your lack of a Full Break unit once he gets 6*, and once Garland get 6*, he can be a strong DPS with Double Hand, at least until you farm up Dual Wield.

Depends on what you're using her for. Vanille can't wall, but she can instantly cast her BSB, has an aoe heal built in as command, and can also put out holy damage. Her stats are also pretty good.
