Will you miss them?
Zombie brands that will be dead by 2025
>Subaru
>zombie brand
Guess you don't live in New England
why is subaru on this list. They grow on trees over here in the northeast
Uh you forgot to add GM
Lincolns bouncing back up, the 2 new SUVs and mustang based coupe will at least make them more relevant than say, Acura
Infiniti has no reason to exist
Other than that they are all already zombie brands
>Mitsubishi
>Zombie Brand
Top fucking kek. Mitsubishi makes cars for goofs. Their main business is launching rockets into space and building multi gigawatt power plants.
Only one of those brands is going to go defunct in 10 years and that's Mitsubishi. All the rest will easily survive.
Yeah literally every car here in rhode island is a subbie
This so much
Mitsubishi Chemical
Mitsubishi Electric
Mitsubishi Estate
Mitsubishi Materials
Mitsubishi FUSO Truck & Bus Corp.
Mitsubishi Logistics
Mitsubishi Motors
Mitsubishi Paper Mills
Mitsubishi Plastics
Mitsubishi Rayon
Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation
Mitsubishi Research Institute
Mitsubishi Shindoh
Mitsubishi Steel Manufacturing
And I am missing the other half
Standard AWD is their only advantage. They get btfo on everything else.
They've been improving.
>Subaru
>MItsu
They will outlive your faggot ass
Others I have no problems with
>Suzuki
>zombie
hardly. they're one of the top motorcycle manufacturers, even if their cars are crap
>Standard AWD is their only advantage. They get btfo on everything else.
doesn't matter when they are fucking everywhere in the Northeast. I drive to my local grocery store 2 miles away and see about 15 on the way. They grow on trees here, I swear...
>Subaru
Doing better than ever.
>Dodge
Trump will bail them out if FCA flounders.
>Lincoln
China likes them for some reason.
>Suzuki
Aren't their bikes still popular?
>Acura/Infiniti/Mitsubishi
All deserve to crash, a shame Nissan and Fiat can't be with them.
They make components for nuclear platns for christ sake
>dodge
Jeep wont allow dodge to fail.
That and if they swap to there performance model low sales numbers are expected.
Fca works like this at the moment:
Want high end performance lux
>maserati
Want awd or 4x4 daily
>jeep
Want to be a richfag
>ferrari
Want a performance or sport model
>alfa romeo
Want a cheaper performance or sport model
>dodge
Want a minivan
>chrysler
Want a compact
>fiat
Want a workhorse
>ram
>half
Mitsubishi has well over 700 corporations under their wing.
Ram and jeep. Paired with global sales from fiat/alfa and even non domestic jeep keep the others alive.
Dodges only fuckup was releasing a dart without a sporty model.
that doesn't mean Mitsubishi motors isn't dying.
Chrysler will die before dodge will.
it will never die because whether it makes a profit or not is irrelevant. Mitsubishi will continue to funnel money into its motors division because its a cheap way to R&D and expose everyday joe's to the brand.
Probably not.
Itll probably be reworked into a higher bang for buck economy brand.
The pacifica starts at 23 but damn it goes up.
That and its an amazing van.
If anything itll just offshoot to basics
Van
Small suv
Fwd sedan
Journey is gonna move to chrysler for fwd and be replaced with a rwd for dodge
300 gonna go fwd/awd it just doesnt sell in large enough volume when you could just buy a charger for less.
Soooooo.
>aspen (fwd suv)
>300 (fwd platform)
>pacifica (van with the plan)
Other than that the brand is dead in the water besides the pacifica (shitty gamble they should of made it a dodge and styled it more sporty)
>Trump will bail them out if FCA flounders.
But FCA isn't a US Company so it would be seen as sinking money into a foreign entity which goes completely against his narrative of money leaving the country. he even questioned NATO because he feels we're paying for free protection for countries.
Bullshit.
That have too much invested in the usa.
You have production of the wrangler expanding, ram, and the wagoneer coming to america.
If trump doesnt throw them a bone he would be a shot business man.
And dont bring natos bullshit into this
We dont owe the world shit.
We won wwii fair and square.
That's where you're wrong, kiddo.
All Mitsubishi pumps out are crossovers and mirages.
They are running out of flagships, nobody buys their shit nowadays.
Mitsubishi North America is on death's door, and you are a fucking retard if you didn't expect it.
All anyone drives here in the NW is Subaru. Thy aren't leaving any time soon
After WWII the Americans didn't want Japan to have big conglomerates like Samsung so Mitsubishi had to become a bunch of independent companies.
Right now they are owned by the Renault-Nissan alliance but Renault only own the Mitsubishi that makes cars they others are totally independent.
If Mitsubishi was a real conglomerate they wouldn't update their cars every 10 years.
That's a zaibatsu for you. The Korean counterpart is the chaebol. Take Samsung for example, they make phones, all sort of electronic components, ships, tanks, weapons, they build the fucking Burj Khalifa as well.
> suzuki
> what_is_the_third_world.png
>dodge
>zombie brand
lmfao.
this
subaru is dead in usa & canada, but they are literally booming everywhere else including yurop, op is a retard and should have been euthanized during birth
FUCK
I MEANT SUZUKI FUCK FUCK FUCK, EUTHANIZE ME TOO
They kinda do. Rallye/Aero is pretty much that, but what they fucked up on is actually advertising it. There's like, way too many trim levels of the Dart that don't fucking matter. They don't properly advertise which one is which either.
>BTFO on everything else
Except normie appeal
subaru is the fastest growing brand currently
mitsubishi will always exhist even if only outside of the united states
B-but they don't have any lap records! They must be dying!
It won't be dead, but Mitsubishi definitely isn't gonna sell cars by even 2020.
Subaru and Dodge will hang on, Mitsubishi will eventually get pushed out of the car manufacturing business, but that's only a small part of their corporation.
>Dodge
>The greatest car company is history
>Zombie Brand
nice meme
The Mitsubishi Group makes up like 10% of Japan's GDP, they're not dying anytime soon.
Lancia probably. Atleast i hope so. Theyre disgracing the brand with the garbage cars they make right now.
>Lincoln
As much as I want it dead, its prolly not gonna happen. I mean go to China.. These sell like hotcakes in a carnival.
>Suzuki
Don't really care for it but I doubt this will be a zombie brand thanks to thier bikes.
>greatest
>spend 5k on repairs within the first 3 years
Mitsubishi will live on as a shittier version of nissan
Subaru sells cars to cucks and yankees so i cant see them slowing down
Suzuki is one of the top car companies in japan and india
If dodge falls so does chrysler. Nobody is going to buy rebaddged italian shitboxes that dont say HEMI on the side
FCA doesn't own ferrari anymore
Thoughts on Subaru reliability and every day drivability and comfort? Specifically the newer WRXs
Can they make a good fun comfy daily driver that will last 10 years with no major issues assuming you don't beat the piss out of it and keep it stock?
>subaru
>3rd fastest growing car company
>zombie
hooookaaaaaay...
>good
yea
>drivability
they drive all right
>reliability
44k miles on my 15 wrx, no problem so far, change your oil and such
>comfy
not really
Dodge is unlikely to fail because the US government doesn't want them to, and because FCA will probably pump money into them for 10 years like Chrysler did.
Subaru actually has decent sales figures and are very strong in certain regions of the US. Doubt they'll fail either.
Suzuki is already dead (pulled out of NA, I believe) and Mitsubishi gave up on real countries and is now officially focusing on third world shitholes (same strategy they used in the 90s actually).
OP is possibly correct about those luxury divisions but I'm not familiar with their sales rates off hand.
Anyway to actually answer OP's question, no I will not miss Suzuki since they never sold any good cars here. I will however miss Shitsubishi since they have a neat history.
Subaru is printing money right now selling it's extremely safe family cars with standard full time AWD
Would you recommend a newer wrx to someone looking for a fun reliable dd, or would you steer someone to something else?
I was shocked to find out Samsung makes cars.
I got a ride in my uncle's Samsung company car and it was pretty nice.
Sure. WRX's fit the bill perfectly.
>Suzuki is already dead (pulled out of NA, I believe) and Mitsubishi gave up on real countries and is now officially focusing on third world shitholes (same strategy they used in the 90s actually).
Suzuki isn't dead everywhere, only in NA.
>Subaru
>zombie brand
>when they're in their 9th consecutive year of record sales
>Samsung
>Japan
>they pale in comparison to everything.
>their reliability is ass.
>the bronco will kill the wrangler
>fuck the challenger
>They get btfo on everything else.
Toyota beats them on recalls
Subaru and Dodge are the best Jap and US brands respectively.
>Subaru
>Dodge
Those aren't going anywhere.
I'm sure Suzuki will keep making bikes as well.
Fca no longer counts as American
>implying Mitsubishi only does cars
Mitsubishi regroups more than 300 companies; mitsubishi motors is one of the last japanese car companies and the sixteenth in the world
Chrysler is an American car company under Tony's managment.
Not like they fired everyone when they bought them.
How is Dodge a zombie brand not Chrysler?
They've got 2 models total, a Sedan and a Minivan.
It's more like an American brand desu
Infiniti is coming back with that variable compression tech and merc platform sharing.
Chrysler has been a zombie propped up by Dodge for 20 years.
none of these make any sense
suzuki and mitsu are doing very well outside of NA
ford will keep pumping money into lincoln
subaru and dodge are doing well
acura and infiniti are selling just enough
trash thread desu
>Btfo on everything else
Except that shit loads of people like buying them. Hardly a zombie brand
My guess would be Vauxhall/Holden which would be re branded to something else.
Also Lancia will disappear.
What caused mitsubishi motors to die? And why they didnt prevent their death?
How is fiat chrysler related to politics and even more important - what it has to do with trump?
They got caught cheating on emission so they are going to get slapped with a huge ass fine that might kill them. How it relates to politics is Trump appointed a coal king or something as his choice for the head of the EPA so people think they might get let off the hook.
