4th for PONTUS

tfw have insomnia and just sit browsing /twg/ till light, i lost hope when the thread went.

Belegar > Skarsnik.

t. beggar nohammer

I actually managed to expand with confederacies and pushed the green tide back, but now Estalia, Tilea and the Dwarves are gone. All of the dwarves. All of them. I fear that my war was just a sideshow, and now the tide has nowhere else to crash into. The VC have begged a military alliance with me for quite spme time now. They wont hold for long. I actually wish that chaos could invade and help me out...a

Altdorf shall never fall.

Aaaahhhhhh...... FUCK

here you go friendo

What a disappointment

mediafire.com/folder/2qbp22o8ch8qc/Warhammer_Fantasy_Battles

What is the best combination of these in an army?

16 mortars and 3 pistoliers is all you need

I can't stop playing Attila lately, just finished a Pict campaign but I can't decide who to play next.

No barbars pls

>t. leonardo cattraza

And what if I have four spare slots?

The tree is called Pagoda

10 units of infantry (2 lords) and 30 rockets.

Rejoice! For a Knight of Bretonnia provides your shield.

How many units are in an army?

>tfw you get to not labor on feast days
Damn it's good to be Bretonnian.

40 units on the battlefield.

>tfw you get to keep a tenth of your harvest

Truly it is good to be Bretonnian

Should I take around armies in pairs, then?

Himyar.

Jew or not Jew?

:^)

Aksum.

post army names

Jew, it's even in the pic.

I meant for my campaign, not the one in the screenshot.

Bow before my concentrated Jewery.

So did I.

>Army 1
>Army 2
>Army 3
etc

...

disband 15 units and recruit 16 mortars and 3 pisotliers

At most, 2-4 units. Really depends who you're going up against though. Like against Dwarfs mortars and rockets are useless and you'd be better with hell blasters or cannons.

Mortars are also really good for sieges because they attack with a high arc.

But for overall use I'd say just do a 1-1 on rockets and canons to keep them even.

>Literally NO ONE is wearing a mask
Why even bother playing Himyar?

>tfw the knight didn't use protection when he raped your daughter as protection payment and now your grandkids won't be as inbred looking
Truly a Bretonnian lives a good life

How is the infantry? I played Garamantia, and it sucked

The enemy does it. Why shouldnt you?

Cant rape the willing.

Age of Charlebane roll chart where?

M-M-Milord?

>not installing a mod that makes those masked general's bodyguard units regular infantry.

800 weapon strength huh?

>didn't use protection when he raped your daughter as protection payment
how is using protection not covered in the protection payment.

Wow this mod looks neat.

>fots
>have consolidated all nearby territory up to sapporo
>only places left to expand w/o border gore are my military allies
>enemies are far away

wat do lads?

Expand navy and/or attack someone from the sea. Then you wait for one of your allies to inevitably flip allegiance and declare war on you.

Vampire Counts is the most fun campaign. You cannot refute this.

Who was the better general? Ceaser or Hannibal

It is the most fun. Until Bretonnia comes out.

Hard to say, but I'm inclined to say Caesar

So I bought wood elves.

Is their campaign any fun or should I just start a new grand campaign with em?

Hannibal did not know how to use a victory
Caesar knew how to attain fame, use his new conquered lands as power in politics.
Tactical wise? I don't know.

I want to be dominated by a best elf!

Does anyone have any good reasons to hate the radious mod for warhammer?
I've been playing it and while the number of units is retarded at this point the balance changes seem fairly reasonable.
Less upkeep so more stacks is fun, less routing makes battles actually take some time instead of morale shock invalidating most AI armies.
The only issue I'm having really is the compatibility problems for small tweaks I'd like to try.

So any suggestions for alternatives?

Balthas are extremely strong offensively but a little weaker on the defensive, the Jew stuff on the other hand is ridiculously tanky and will blend any and all infantry from the front, coupled with their ridiculous heavy camel cav it gives them brutal fighting power. The trick is to realize their spears are garbage and that your anti cav units are actually camels while your axes take on their infantry with ease. With a leveled general and armor upgrades the Jewish exclusive infantry can legit go 3vs1 with two coming in from the flanks and win.

It's actually pretty decent. Much better than the beastmen minicampaign.
GC is still better though.

ebin

ebinnn

...

Let's go.

r8 pls

should I be recruiting my main line from the province w/ +armor? I thought about it but figured I'd be better off with the charge bonus so I can rek those filthy gun-wielding emperorfags

I think guns pierce armor don't they? If that's the case, then obviously charge is better.

It's not like more armor is gonna save those dumb savages from hot lead anyway.

Armor is worth fuck all vs cannons and rifles so charge I guess.

Why do people like the most fucking lame """""fantasy"""""" faction? No cool units and monsters, closest thing to magic is actually just elf magic bs

>164997551
Who cares if they're strong. They should be.
They would only be engaged rarely and it should be challenging and rewarding to go to Lustria.

And for MP balance the only thing that matters is cost.

Knights, horses, chivalry, and honor.

So just a worse Empire then

By the Lady, no.

WHOOPS

So should I disturb the ERE or Sassynid hugbox first? I only have one army because I'm stockpiling money but I think I could afford a second one.

Literally like a shitty backwater empire province that cant afford guns. Chaos isnt gonna rempve itself Mr. No Blackpowder

Don't need gunpowder when you got The Lady's blessing making cannonballs bounce off of you and demi-gods on horses.

You can eat empire easily, safely thru Nubia/Egypt. You fuck with the 'nids and those hoes gon be dicking around Arabia with like 10 stacks of cav and archers in no time.

>bow cav
>don't have 360degree firing arc

well the bow ki seem much worse now

ere hugbox

see if you can spread your insidious faith throughout the sassanid satraps and cause some rebellions

I recall Aegyptus having goldmines and Palaestina having gemstones so if you want to go full on jew mode, go after ERE first.

Do those axemen you start with become more useful against armoured units because if so I'll bring a ton against the Romans.

They were pretty underwhelming for their cost against Aksum but they also have no fucking armour at all so I guess the cost of the AP was wasted on them.

I really don't want to have another game of spamming armoured camels because it's cheesy as fuck

So I wanted to give the Slavs a shot in Attila, but then I saw that they have no melee cav whatsoever.

What's the point of those factions?

trialing poison for Warhammer, filling in the map, making money for CA.

They have some pretty crazy campaign map bonuses (no cost to colonisation saves you a fortune and I love the Venedian farm one). They have pretty good infantry as well, those mid-tier axe units are great once they start getting a bit of armour on them. Poison arrows are fun to play around with but be wary of friendly fire. You're asking for trouble if you bring a whole line of poison archers behind your infantry.

Check. The military tech tree. There's a tech relatively early on that upgrades them into armored units. They should be your main battleline infantry for at least until mid to lategame.
Also, rollan for the first campaign of 2017. No major empires please.

rape everything with your absurdly op archers

for Rome 2/Attila politics is there any benefit of having your leaders just sitting in the senate?

Well its up to you then to resist the hot camel dick... they do have the tools to succeed and be fun without camel-fu. In fact you can build them succesfully in more than one way. I prefer legions of axemen and archers but cav is great too

When will they make a new gun-powder game? Shogun 2 FOTS with mods is the greatest TW experience.

Best time, worst setting
Personally, there is no setting that interests me less than Japan, unless it was WW2 Japan.

what mods do you use for fots?

War ERE and land grab in north africa then offer peace in exchange for swapping sides and going at the sassynids, white huns should've fucked them sufficiently by then and you'll have baltha defenders who can take big sweaty shits on sassanid infantry. Then you're big enough that you can do whatever the fuck you want to whoever the fuck you want.

Darthmod (yeah, i know i know, /twg/ doesn't like him), and associated unit packs

What are your thoughts on a China Total War? A lot of people say it would be boring but I don't know why. You would have just as much a game as shogun 2. You could have Mongols, Viet's, Thai's and south east asians.

I swear there are some people who only want total war set in Europe and I don't know why.

/twg/ isn't a person
His mods are fine
He himself and his mods' presentation are abysmal.

China total war would need to be set in a specific time period of fragmentation, of which there are many

Shogun total war worked well because it took place during the sengoku era and the spinoff campaigns during times like the meiji restoration era

A China Total War would be like having a Europe Total War, you need something specific like Romance of the Three Kingdoms Total War

Not him, but I want warlord China/Asia. That might be too big a scope I suppose.

because china is really not a well known setting - rome, medieval europe/muslims/mongols, samurai-focused japan, are pretty popular historical settings. Early-modern/napoleonic europe are both fairly well known for the majority of the TW audience. China during basically any period isn't
