height and weight actually affect you in this game
the taller you are the more you can carry and resist being staggered/ knocked down. your arms are bigger so your sword reaches longer; arm length affects your weapons hitboxes.

I'm a level 55 and just faced ur-dragon for the first time...I heard his HP is shared online? he had almost 0 hp left and I got the killing blow after attacking the heart twice

You get more reward if you get the killing blow, and yes his hp is shared online. and if you die when fighting him, he recover half bar of health.

i wouldn't really recommend it until way later on though. no reason to change so early.
as for your pawn's appearance (height and weight included), you can do that with the Art of Metamorphisis that you buy from the encampment for some RC. read the OP

I just beat the game around level 50. Do I just grind until i'm high enough for the BBI content. I went and the giant beholder just fucked my shit up. What level until im ready?

work on getting your gear upgraded
if you can get your gear dragon forged you can put up a fight in BBI and get a strong weapon then rinse repeat.

Your level is fine and the dragon weapon is good enough. If you want a slightly better weapon or a good weapon for a different class you can go to the shops in the everfall. It's recommended to do each chamber of the postdragon everfall once before going to bbi because there are a lot of good fights in there but they're a joke after you get bbi gear.

Beholder in BBI or everfall? Because if it is everfall then you haven't actually beat the game yet. 50 is more than enough though, on my first playthrough I think I went in at 43.

Oh ok. It just that the giant beholder on BBI just barely takes damage when I attack its eye. Thought I just needed to grind some levels out.

If you progress the fight long enough you'll be presented with a very easy way to damage it.

I just did this and the pawn I hired repeatedly said that it was weak to ice while enchanting my ice weapon with fire even though the pawn had ice affinity. I have not payed this in about a year, but the pawns seem much worse this time around.

I did BBI at around I think 55. I might have been 60 by the time I reached Gazer. Its really the petrifaction thats nasty. If you are a melee class, I usually didn't try climbing onto its actual eye because the fall. After a while it falls on the ground and it's eye comes out. Its worth noting that the petrifacation only works if you look at it when it hits you so you can just turn your back to it.

That's why you only ever bring 1 affinity. Pawns aren't smart enough to enchant with a weakness that will work on the group of enemies as a whole, instead you might get a fire enchant while fighting hellhounds because that undead enemy nearby is weak against fire.

The big eye guy in BBI is a gimmick fight for the most part. You're basically just slapping his eye around until he tries to summon something and you turn it into an atomic great cannon.

Like most of the shit in that GDC presentation, it was cut early on. Everything else got shuffled around and downsized. The waycastle bridge was supposed to be bigger and have a bossfight on it for one

I need to go look through the minimap textures one of these days, maybe there are remnants of unused areas in there or parts of the minimaps you won't see in normal gameplay (like the entire back half of Grigori's room). Should also see if the actual map geometry is importable into max like the rest of the game's models are.

There aren't any unused enemies though, already looked and everyone is accounted for. Nothing new there.

After sinew the weight limit becomes a nonissue and I can always push my shit onto other pawns. Some people care about muh fashion when hiring pawns, but how about the size? Currently my pawn is the biggest male, should that be changed in hopes of getting more hires or?

I think you have to be behind the enemy to hold them and hold F.

Just play through the story, post dragon you can buy an item for 8k rc that lets you change your arisen/pawn whenever you want from the main menu

You still have to unlock blue skin pigment to use it.
