If you live in or near Sweden why not do a whiteblock swap? The parts and information needed are much easier to come across in that part of the world. Probably cheaper than doing a V8 swap too. Also 5 cylinders sound amazing.

He's going to use an L99. It's an LT1, but downsized to 4.3L. They were only available in 1994-1996 Caprice's. Considering he's in Sweden, any Chevy V8 is better than nothing.
