Why are BMWs so fucking ugly aside from the front?

Cool opinion bro. I have some opinions myself too
If that's true explain the 507 and E31. Ugly from the front, great from every other angle.
So there's something to look at in your rear view mirror when you blow by them in your Mercedes.
>BMW
>ugly
You sound like a complete degenerate. I'm not crazy about some of their current models but overall old or new they are great looking cars.
>aside from the front
What is pretty for you OP? Civic hatchbacks?
>Implying Civic hatches aren't better looking than German blobs
>so beautiful!
Looks good, and better than a German blob.
yeah man very well designed car
Cause they are built for insecure business men who all want to conform to look alike.
The front end is hideous cheap garbage . The grill is shaped like hitlers mustache and cracks and falls out when you close the hood too many times.
"Aside from the front"
> fancies themselves a word smith
> has no taste
>cheap
Is $130k for an M6 cheap for you
I was implying the construction and parts that crack and fall apart all the time are cheap......... I am very aware of what dumbasses pay for these piles of shit that start to fail before they even reach 70,000 miles, Fag.
lmao that one is the other way around
I love when people try to appear intelligent but it's obvious they have no idea what the fuck they're talking about
I work with BMWs and I've owned dozens of them and I've never in my life seen a cracked kidney grille (except after being damaged)
Keep living in your delusions poorfag, come back when you've actually sat in one
Your a fuckind sad liar if you say you have never seen a cracked falling out hitler mustache before. You must be from another dimension where BMW German plastics are not fragile, brittle, crumbling shit, Fag!
Also, I love the way the weather stripping around windshields cracks and crumbles into ugly little bits after 4 years, but I'm sure you have never seen that ever before on any BMW either.
It's a disposable car for misinformed, spoiled fucknuts who think things are only good because they are expensive.
I would take a Japanese car with some decent coilovers and an engine swap over that German fecal matter any day.
Please don't let me stand in the way of you lying to yourself though , you assclown!
Oh look, new pasta...
(or maybe old and I'm... challenged?)
Lmao the crumbling weather stripping was a problem for E34's and E36's, obviously the only experience you've ever had is with 25+ year old BMWs, typical poorfag. Enjoy your jap garbage and keep living in delusions though
My jap garbage has an alloy radiator , silicon hoses that are basically impervious to failure & suspension bushings that don't crack & crumble apart every 25k.
I also don't need a 10,000 dollar scan tool to fix problems with the computer controlled doors and trunk popping open after 35 thousand miles.
So thanks. I will have fun not dealing with any of those retarded problems that all bmws inherently have engineered into them.
Now I'm sure your going to respond telling me that I am delusional & you have owned dozens of bmws and you have never seen a single cooling system failure, but I need to remind you that you live in an alternate dimension that the rest of humanity.
Why are troll threads always so bad?
It probably wouldn't be so bad if you didn't get such a boner for German shit fetish porn.
If I liked fat chicks covered in shit and wandered into threads with people ripping on shit covered fat chicks I probably wouldn't like what I saw either.
At least I'm empathetic.
...you must be out to troll.. I haven't owned one myself, but I have extensively driven my fathers BMW's ranging from 95-2009. The only major problems that we had from them were our 2004 530i kept frying cylinder heads.
Of course, my dad also didn't try to find the cheapest deal on a BMW he could. He paid decent money for low mileage BMW's, and then held up fine. Not our fault that you and your friends buy 3k early 2000's 150xxx mile BMWs and get mad when they break on you.
Oh! The only problem is you kept frying cylinder heads!?!? No big deal LMAO!
Sorry. I meant ignition coils. and its not a problem when you can literally buy them online and replace them all at once with no tools.
Pop hood, unplug coils, pull out, put in new coil, replug. done.
Da fuck you confuse cylinder heads with coils!?!? You sound very knowledgeable. Do go on.
Scanning BMW error codes cost $20
But keep trying though, glad to hear you are enjoying your soulless trash can, at least it's somewhat reliable so it's a good car right
ok buddy. we're done here. time to get this thread out of here
And I'm guess you only spend 2$ dollars on a crack rock too?
can literally go to autozone or any equivalent parts store and get scanned for free.
Uh oh!! now it's time for the Mexican German shit fetish guys to start chiming in!
Nah but I replaced the rear suspension bushings and did toe allignment for $150 total 6 months ago when my BMW 5 series hit 370k miles.
Oh and I did an oil and filters change for $250
Enjoying my luxury highway cruiser every day, hit 150 mph on a regular basis
But as I said glad to hear you're enjoying your jap tin can. Guess doing no oil changes ever is worth it?
Not sure where mexican came in but ok friend
oh and I forgot to mention: bmw makes some damn luxurious skid machines.
Had a 3 hour winder drift session last weekend
Uuuummmmm BMW is the one telling its customers to never change their oil until every 15,000 miles!
Seeing as how I built my own engine I make sure to change the oil every 3000 miles like specified by my non deceitful manufacturer .
because you are poor and hate success.
now I KNOW this thread isn't worth keeping alive. let it die, guys
They made the e36, & anyone worth a damn at drifting those has completely gutted them of all the cars "luxuries" and fitter them with a rollcage.
Of course you can. You can scan any car with OBD-II with a generic scanner that will give you a generic code. It's not very useful. My shop is NOT a dealership, we have a Bosch Mastertech that came with generic software, then you purchase OE software for all manufacturers (i.e. Honda, GM, BMW) and it costs a small fortune.
I agree in the most repostulanian way possible, chap.
Also, henceforth forever unto dubs.
>3000 mile oil changes
Are you running conventional oil without a filter or something? That's just unnecessary and wasteful
Thank you for speaking factual information!!!!
But I know it won't change the fact that all the Mexican are gonna keep hanging around autozone bumming generic scan tools for ultimate driving machines!
Yeah bro. I don't use a filter!
Your the kind of fuck wad that thinks sysnthetic is "better" and should be put into any & every engine!
Good luck with that. I wouldn't want to buy a used car from you.
You would probably put ATF in your engine if it said "synthetic" on the bottle.
fortunately, I have enough car knowledge that I don't need a machine to tell me exactly what's wrong with the vehicle.
the generic codes are enough for me to figure out where to troubleshoot from there.
scanners are not necessary, they're just a useful addition.
There's this kid with a stanced civic hatch that comes into my shop for work. It has a stock internals F22 swapped into it. Car is clean for an old hatch, I'll give him that. But every god damn time he comes in for something he wants an oil change "while it's there" and wants royal purple. He doesn't even buy it himself. He buys it from us at our crazy mark up. Stock internals 2.2. Royal purple.
Literally all I said was conventional doesn't last as long. Thanks though COIDF
You dont need to strip a BMW for winter skids though, i've seen a guy pulling snow skids in his $150k brand new 7 series.
Also the non modified M models make good drift cars on any surface
What do you do when you have to upload data back to the ECU?
Omfg shut the fuck up desk chair jockey!
You have enough knowledge to take your broken BMW to the dealership while it's still under warranty.
I've never heard such bullshit.
You literally cannot fix most of the problems on a new BMWs without a proper scan tool because you need to enter the individual modules and activate certain devices & solenoids.
But you keep fucking your exhaust pipe with your tiny dick and telllin everyone how much you and your e30 are intune with eachother, Fag!
Upload a virus to the mainframe
never owned a BMW with a warranty. All used, and maintained by me or my father. salt is real
How'd you go from "3 hour winder drift session" to some snow skids!?!?
Seems Most of you Beamer fags have multiple personality disorder.
you're really gettin upset there, huh?
winter drifting is nothing much more than snow skids
He has been upset since the beginning, read his posts. Why is that though, since he claims to drive a very good and reliable Japanese vehicle.
You only put sysnthetic oil in enginenthat are designed for synthetic oil you stupid fucking , pleb!!
I'm only giving you this important information because I want you to know just how fucking stupid you sound!
I would however love for you to keep putting synthetic in all the cars you come into contact with cause I like to imagine how stupid your face is gonna look when your car catostrophically fails!!
Keep up the good work , you fucking clown!
whats with the hate for BMWs here? All brand and cars have their own ups and downs. auto enthusiast forum my ass. bunch of salty kids that can only afford used ricer tax cars that have been hooned to 170k miles and sold for 2k.
then you come here and claim superiority. ridiculous. I like japanese cars, I like german cars. but im not going to act like 20k brand new jap cars from 20 years ago are better than 50k+ german cars from the same year.
Yeeesssss .... make sure to read all my posts about how overrated & comically engineered German cars are.
Some people enjoy over engineered vehicles if they can afford to take care of them. These are cars made for two different markets. Oh well, dude.
Wew lad. Good thing I never said any of that. You don't even know if I own a car bud. You're just projecting
Some people enjoy driving dealership loaners more than the actual car the spent their money on.
once again, i've never owned a car under warranty. who buys new?
I like owning a comfy car that brings me driving pleasure and that is technologically advanced. Maybe I would also like to own a barebones shitbox to crash in a tree and burn it down afterwards as a weekend car maybe. Maybe you can sell me yours
So you saying that using conventional oil is unnesacery & wasteful was implying what then? Please clarify?
And what's unnessacery & wastful is a landfill full off old BMW cooling system parts & bushings.
You sound like Donald trump making one wrong statement and then dancing around trying to make it sound like that's not what your original implications were.
I believe my original post was its unecessary or wasteful otherwise. But please carry on
You think BMWs are overrated because you've never owned or driven one, only looked upon expensive new BMWs and their (possibly) douchey drivers. All you see is ''high maintenance costs'' ''douchebag owners'' etc.
No high maintenance on an entry level BMW like a used 335i, just pure fun and great tuneability, you should try one. There is a reason the 335i's engine (N55) is often called the ''modern 2JZ''
And there also is a reason BMWs are the most tracked cars worldwide.
That's reaching quite a bit to make claims about someone you have never met IRL crashing a car into a tree.
Sounds like typical internet thread last resort attacks.
Try pretending your not in a rap video & Turning your traction control button off on your big comfy nigger puss mobile and actually driving and see how far you make it.
People keep saying I have never driven a BMW when I actually worked at a BMW repair shop and have driven many many bmws...
And also to all the hypocrits telling me I have never driven a BMW I would say that it is very likely you have never driven a decent Japanese race built street/track car!
You guys are the epitome of completely hypocritical faggotry.
I've drifted and beat the shit out of every BMW i've owned, including the all wheel drive X5. If you missed I posted that I had a 3 hour drift session last weekend in my 5 series.
And in contrary to older Jap cars older BMWs are quite safe in case of a crash and I am speaking from experience - my friend crashed his 2000 200sx sideways in a pole while drifting, the car nearly split in half, not something you'd experience in an E46 for example.
youtube.com
Also my dads girlfriend has a 2016 3 series and @ around 35000 miles it's already starting it's visits to the dealership for rediculous repairs like how the trunk was deciding to pop open when she put the car in reverse.
You guys are fucking hilarious, Fags.
What exactly was your job at this BMW repair shop?
hey br/o/s. i need a vehicle to attract pussy. or at least not embarrass myself with my current shitbox. i dont want nasty herpes infested skanks. i was hoping getting a used bmer would attract a slightly higher class of skank. anyone have experience or stories? was looking at the 335. also noticed some audi tts' for pretty cheap used. good pussy magnet choice for a budget?
I have never seen a BMW and thought it looked good.
Mercedes too.
I like my BMW wagons, and have a thing for the E39's especially.
But I'm not so naïve as to believe that it'll run forever without maintenance. Any time I buy one I plan on spending 50% of what I just spent to do maintenance that the previous owner didn't do.
No car more expensive than a cheap BMW...
I never even slightly said older Japanese cars are safe for high speed crashes......and if your friend had any brains he wouldn't be trying high speed drifitng on public streets and he would also have installed a roll cage.
My cousins 2015 Acura TLX was brought to the dealer at exactly 26k miles because of a ''manufacturing defect'' or ''poor soldering job'' because the tail, reverse and brake lights kept on flickering and coming on/off.
Now he's experiencing transmission issues such as jerks between gears.
Pretty pathetic issues for a ''dead reliable jap car''
Not that high speed, normal drifting, we do it every weekend. Someone does wipe out like every 6 months or so but it's still fun
I have a friend who has been drifting his 2001 E46 coupe for 5 years almost daily with at least 5 crashes on the record. The bimmer still goes like hot stuff off the shovel, now wrapped with plastidip in attempt to hide the awful post collision bodywork
Thats actually an American car , dumbass. Why do you think the new nsx is sooo ugly and disappointing.
I've never been overly keen on how they look, but I saw an M3 in signal green the other day, and it looked decent.
It's great that you're all arguing with each other here, but no one here is yet to tell me why BMWs look so fucking ugly.
I told you!!! It's cause they are built with conservative looks for conformist business men & they got a hitler Stache on em , but you seem to like the hitler Stache, Fag!
What the fuck kind of answer is that user
Conservative look? Conformist business men?
Then why are there so many faggot teenagers out there who obsess over owning a BMW? They don't look like conformist business men to me.
And the "Hitler stache" is literally and objectively the best looking thing about those cars.
>The grill is shaped like hitlers mustache and cracks and falls out when you close the hood too many times
>making up problems even bmw haters have never heard of
you have never even sat in a bmw, haven't you?
Shit i think what you said just makes me like them more
>looks good
a-are you blind?
>the grill is shaped like hitlers mustache and cracks and falls out when you close the hood too many times
what
You fucking faggots are only lying to yourselves, not me. Burn in hell hitler fags
made this for you, Beamer Faggots.
>base model (anything) is ugly
Wow who woulda thought?
face lift e39 with ebay headlights...
Omg the horror of replacing that! It must have to go on a boat back to Germany, leaving the owner carless for months! *gasp*
Ooohhhhhj now we're admitting they break all of a sudden.......
I thought no one ( who was ssooooooo lucky to have gotten the privilege to even sit in a BMW) had ever even seen a broken kidney before!?!?
Have fun shelling out money for broken grills with all the other faggots, faggot.
I remember when base model meant you still had to wind your windows and he seat fabric wasn't as pretty
...
Wow yeah, sure is ugly huh? How could anyone like the look of this thing if it doesn't have a shit ton of modifications?
>ugly
