i believe players are contracted to not suddenly disband or leave in league means teams are more stable
meanwhile in dota2, not even a TI champ team can avoid changes every 3months cause the players don't sync

League is being handled better, at least right now.
It's also significantly larger than Dota than we tend to realize. TI prizepool being autistically huge is the only thing making them look like they're on even-footing.

So how about we fix matchmaking and throw all the valve bullshit like forced 50, shadowpool, bahaviour score etc out.
Just an example: HoN has about 10k players TOTAL at 3 am middle european time. Most of those are not even european at this time and still a game is found in under 5 minutes. Meanwhile in dota it takes 5 minutes in peak times.
