The Pave-Penny pod is purely for target acquisition.

The GBU-12 will simply guide to whatever laser it sees, so the FAC will have to talk you into the rough area of your target.

It's either T-80s/T-72Bs vs M1A2s, or T-72Bs vs M-60s. The M1A2 is too modern for the units in this mission.

Tanks aren't even that big a factor in this mission anyway, the IFVs are more interesting when they fight.

The M2A2 Bradley was mainly an upgrade to the TOW2 system afaik, so not a big deal.
