All jobs in this game are pretty balanced compared to a lot of other MMOs. While some jobs are better than others every job is viable in end-game raiding

I think so, but if you're on any server aside from maybe Mateus that house will get snatched up the second the plot opens up. My neighbor on Balmung's house got auto-demolished and there were like 20 people waiting by the sign for 2 hours beforehand.

I assume people actually go around checking the plots to see who's logged in and who hasn't. You can see via the list whether a homeowner is online, I would imagine that a really dedicated autist would keep a chart of which houses were likely to be auto-demolished (after a period of observation to see who logs in or not) and would go check on them. Word of mouth is a thing too, if someone says their neighbor hasn't logged on in a month, people who hear that are gonna go check the house.

yeah but even beyond there there are other ranged classes they could pick. Heck, you could go healer and focus mainly on keeping people alive
