Yes it was real. I had it at one point, might still. Screwed around with the motion controls for about three minutes for the fuck of it, then got bored and switched to the hori pad.
GG used to be pretty wild, they'd experiment around with weird shit like that.

I'm not sure how asw would handle it but a projectile you have the option to use as a platform could be interesting. Could make it like his ice car, but with more options and Hazama I assume you were talking about spinning on top of it. Also a Litchi style stance change when it's deployed without him or he's on it. And since no jumping around everywhere you'd have to give him better movement, including a run.
