Came back after.. god, months before City Living came out. Bought the expansion and havent touched it. Doing that now though since I can make a young single Mother of Color in the inner city, maybe I'll even have some fun?

nrass doesn't mean all mods, 4 has MC command center to fill nraas' role

4 is still pretty new and isn't quite as mod-friendly (in terms of creation)
That said we're starting to get some pretty robust ones

3 is vastly superior in every way except for how choppy and laggy it is. just use nraas mods and you can deal with it.

sims 4 has been out for 2 and a half years and doesn't have 1/4 of the amount of content sims 3 does, there is no reason to play it unless you are a literal woman and like playing the sims for the sole purpose of raising a family

But user, TS3 is better than 4 on that too. TS4 is for waifu fags, builders, and those that only play single sims. It's actually why I don't play 4 anymore, but I will try it again now with the addition of toddlers
