What should be my focus if I'm going to be a f2p player? At the moment I'm playing with Runecraft because I have a lot of damage and summon (snowmen-golem) cards.

Also, should I waste my gold to buy these characters? Do they have new leader abilities or something?

I really like how you can already tell who is going to win each game by figuring out which non vampire player is stuck going first. Cool game design.

They are purely cosmetic, though they also change your emotes. Vampy and Forte are worth it, the others not so much.

Choose your favourite craft, and the one you have the most good golds/legos in. The game hands out enough free shit you're not really restricted to one though, I've been playing a month for free and have 4 competitive crafts.

they don't, they only affect appearance and emotes. don't buy the full pack, it's not worth it unless you play ALL the crafts (you won't) AND ALSO want ALL the alternate leaders (you seriously don't, some are awful)

All of those besides Valhallan General and Ice Blade Warfiend are completely safe to vial. Valhallan General is played on some Storm Haven builds (though he is not mandatory) and I've seen Warfiend on some Control Blood builds, though I am not sure about how well he does there since I don't play Control Blood.
