$41k for 2016 528i
Seems like a decent deal... what does Veeky Forums think?
535i w/ V6 goes for $45k

The fuck are you doing OP?

If you must, please consider used 135i or 335i.

And that is just about it.

If it has to be new, then you are overpaying and should just get a Chevy SS.

Not OP but fuck did I want the 135is. I test drove the 135i and it's so fucking good. If you don't have a family on the way like me, definitely get the 135i. They are only $26k at MSRP, you could definitely talk them down another $2-3k easily.

>small engine in a big car
>pigfat
>no dipstick
>shitty modern car design
Shiggy diggy

Also,
>v6
Bmws are not for you.

used scares me shitless. wasnt even considering chevy i was so fixated on germans.
Whats wrong w/ the 5-series exactly?

>v6
maybe next time buddy.
ama op, im a bmw tech. ill be around for an hour or two more
says the one who has never driven one. an n20 in an f10 is plenty fast.

why not wait a few months for the G30?
also BMW has never produced a V6 engine

Heavy for the class
Poor driving dynamics
Cucktier 528i 4 cylinder engine
No dipstick

Basically what everyone is going to tell you.

The 135i/335i/SS do not offer the comfort of a 5 series

>no dipstick

Hahahahahhahahhahah how to get screwed 101

I'm pretty sure it's the lightest car in its class
Definitely the lightest Euro car of the category

BMW has built a fuckton of V6s, none of them were up to snuff, so they never saw the inside of a BMW.

wont that start in the $50k range?

so what are some alternatives in the same size and price range for family sedans?

you can still check the oil idiot...

SS with the optional Magnetic Dampers from the Ferrari 599.

And comfy leather. And above average build quality.

And absolutely holy grail LS3 of engines.

It will be worth about 2 dollars in 5-10 years. The SS is the modern Pontiac G8 GXP, which has held value incredibly well (I bet the SS will too, specifically in Manuel). The SS is not as refined, but you get a reliable ls and since holden produces it and not chevy, the interior isn't awful.

I concur.

>plenty fast
Nah. Adequate at best. It's still the poorfag lease special engine.

Good luck making it to 40,000 mile on your clock without having to bring it to the dealer for some kind of stupid computer problem..... better get that warranty or prepare to get assraped by a German yeti dick.

I'd rather consider older car with bigger engine. It's a 5 series after all.
